Not quite sure where this report fits in, since it concerns conditions in Europe. However, it is a follow-up to a report of the same name, on this thread, from a few years back. Because this is a lengthy report, I will file it in several parts over several days. If the feed-back to this part indicates it is not wanted, I will oblige and not take up any more time / space with the remaining parts. Let me know if there is any interest in this material.
Part I
For quite sometime now I have wanted to take an exotic 'adult' vacation. Then, I happened across Tanman's posts: Great SP Deals in Europe https://perb.cc/xenforo/index.php?POSTs This seemed to be what I was looking for. So I did further research on various boards, including http://worldsexguide.com/forum and http://www.ignatice.com . As a result of my research I decided that German FKK's were for me and the best place to start was Frankfurt. More research and some coaching got me to http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum This was the most up-to-date and quite informative forum for information on German FKKs. I decided on two of the 'Hessen 3': Palace ( http://www.the-palace.de/index_en.php ) and Oase (http://www.fkk-oase.de/ ), pronounced: 'O-ar-zer' (The third is World http://fkk-world.de ) Having decided on Frankfurt, other sites of value in planning my trip were http://frankfurt.usa-sexguide.com and http://www.germany-cities.com/ which is full of information about public transportation, trains, taxi's, shopping and entertainment guides and maps.
Finally, I had done enough research and I booked my one week trip to Frankfurt.
Transportation matters: (For First Timers Benefit)
Wheels down at Frankfurt airport was a half hour early. After a long taxi to the shuttle bus and airport terminal (Frankfurt Airport is a Hub airport and second to Heathrow in London for volume - occasionally loosing out to Charles DeGaulle in Paris) I made my way to the baggage claim. As this was my first trip to Frankfurt I was following the crowd and the signs. Only getting lost briefly once I finally arrived at the luggage carousel and awaited my bag. German customs were in sight and could see us as we awaited our bags. With bag in hand I approached customs and was quickly waived through to Passport Control. I did not realize this until I was leaving Germany, but there were lines for Euro - nationals and for non - Euro - nationals, and I was in the wrong one. Not understanding the gestures of the guard I stood my ground. Frustrated with the dumb foreigner, he then stamped my passport and I was in. Again following the crowd and signs I found my way to the train platform on the first level (S8 or S9 in the direction of Frankfurt Hbf, Offenbach or Hanau to stop at the Hauptbahnof from Track 1 under Terminal 1). There, with a little assistance I purchased a full day ticket for 9.10 euro. http://www.germany-cities.com/frankfurt/arrival-transport/by-plane/ . I had decided to purchase a full day ticket rather than a one-way airport to city because I expected to go out to either Oase or Palace the same day. Had I gone to Palace, that would have been a good plan. However, as I decided to go to Oase first I had a problem: the day pass purchased at the airport was only good for the Frankfurt area and not to go to Friedricksdorf. I had to purchase a suppliment ticket for 1.85 euro, one-way. I did not purchase a round trip ticket because I thought I might use the taxi to return if the trains had stopped running,(Oase has a deal with a local cab company to go to Frankfurt for 40 - 45 euro). I obtained a schedule that showed the last train from Friedricksdort to Frankfurt am Main was at 8 minutes after midnight, (Line S5 to Friedricksdorf via Bad Homburg, Platform 103 - 104 from Hauptbahnhof). Not a problem. When finished at Oase I purchased a one-way to Frankfurt for 3.70 euro. Taxi's to and from Oase and Friedricksdorf were under 10 euro each, so I rounded up to 10 euro even. The driver taking me there also got 10 euro from the club, per passenger. Time line: wheels down was about 11:05 AM, I got my bag, cleared customs & immigration and found the train platform where I purchased my ticket to town at 11:39 AM. Walked to my hotel, about 2 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof on Kaiserstr, checked in and settled in and by 14:15 I was on my way to Oase, via Friedricksdorf. I was at the club no later than 15:00. Not too bad IMHO for a first-time non-German speaking newbie! For days when I was likely to travel to Palace or around Frankfurt I was able to purchase a two day ticket at the hotel for 7.90 euro. This is a value if you plan more than 3 trips, or for going to the airport during that time. The code for the Friedricksdorf ticket is 51. Watch for it, if you buy a one-way ticket you may have to also punch in 1 for via Bad Homburg. The return code to anywhere in Frankfurt is 50. The code for Industriehof (Palace) from Hauptbahnhof, because it is in Frankfurt, is 50. The route for Palace: from Hauptbahnof, catch the U4 two stops to Bockenheimer Warte-then the westbound U6 or U7 (either the blue line to Heerstrasse or the yellow one in direction Hausen) three stops to Industriehof. Cross the tracks to the west. There will be a high stone fence in front of you. Turn to the right and walk a half block and there will be an opening in the fence. This sidewalk leads to a well displayed Palace sign. If you want to make return train connections, you should leave by 11:30 pm.Taxi will cost between 10-15 euro.
The Plan:
I planned to arrive on Tuesday and stay until the following Monday. In consultation with the boards and coaches on the boards I decided to start my voyage at Oase. I would hook-up with an acquaintance on Thursday and we would tour together until his departure on Saturday. As it worked out, I went to Oase on Tuesday, took a city tour Wednesday morning and rested, Thursday I went to Palace and met up with my associate, took an out-of-town tour Friday so we went to Palace that night. On Saturday I introduced my associate to Oase and he went home with a smile. I returned to Oase Sunday, also to complete my smile.
