I have a good feeling that Gillis is going to make a splash! Not only will he get rid of the bad karma garbage, ie. rotten Swedish meatballs, Gillis may make a move for Heatley or Gaborik or Bouwmeester! Wouldn't that be something?

I do admit that I'm not crazy about an injury-prone European, as if we need anymore on our team w/ Salo constantly being in and out of the line up; this guy can pull a back muscle just bending over to tie his skates!

But Gabby will be a fresh start, & like that other BW who claimed he knew that he'd be coming here simply b/c of Demitra, I'm at least willing to turn a new leaf & shove those Sedins somewhere far away, like Minnesota or Nashville, so dont' have to see their useless, predictable cycle game. Hear that Burkie's trying to go after them, well, be my guest, they were losers here in this city, so let the 'centre of the universe' spiral to more disappointment and disaster ;)

We don't hear those whiny Leafs fans no more, eh?

Hey there Mr. Hockey expert.

I'm not an expert, just a loyal fan who supports them,---win, lose or draw, and I leave the teams decisions to who should make them - management. Thank God you're not part of that management.

So, this "novice" says you're going to look like an even bigger jerk who knows fuck all about running a hockey team, when Gillis resigns the Sedins in a few days. And why wouldn't he ????? Where is he going to find 2 forwards who have scored 82 points each ?????????

You are going to be soooooooooooo pissed off when they sign a new 4 or 5 year contract, (forget the 12 year rumor) and I hope they score 100 points each.

I guess it's safe to say will you jump off the bandwagon if the Sedins re-sign.

I find it amusing and interesting that BJ can`t wait to rid the Nucks of the Swedish meatballs and aquire Heatley, Bouwmeester and Gaborik who all have won absolutely NOTHING.:p

But at least they don't look like sissies, right?

and w/ the exception of Gabby, they're Canadians...now, the last time I checked, we are supposed to support them, no?:D :D :D

?

If the Sedins are going to be signed for say, $5 - 6 million, that's $12 million the Canucks are going to be on the hook for. On the other hand, if they try to sign Heatly, Bouwmeester & Gaborik or any combo, wouldn't the price tag be much higher? Based on Heatly's contract & Bouwmeester's asking price at trade deadline, they're pass the $12 million mark. Either way you look at it, it's going to be a interesting weekend & summer leading up to the beginning of the season.

Mr. Hockey Expert, where have these Swedish Sissies taken us so far in the last 8yrs, w/ these 82 points?

Keep in mind, playing in their option year, they played out their hearts out, hoping to cash in. Fortunately, if Gillis did anything right, is that he lured them all season long, so they had to prove themselves.

Don't count on these twins to do that next season, wherever they land. Isn't it ironic how once sport athletes in general, sign the 'big' contract, their play falls off? guess the security's all there now ;)

So for all of those BW who also secretly love to suck Swedish cock, here's one ugly sister's stat:

http://www.rotowire.com/hockey/player.htm?id=1115

so please explain to the tough-love, true Canuck fans like myself who don't accept losing, having a higher set of standards, how on earth are we supposed to expect that resigning these twin dinks going to get us to the next level?

Wasn't it supposed to be all doom and gloom when Naslund/Bertuzzi left?

Or when Mogilny/Bure left too?

we'll do fine if these swedish cocksuckers leave town!:p

Are you suggesting that he may make a trade for Gaborik or Bouwmeester at the draft?
You realize those guys will be unrestricted free agents in a week, right?
He could trade for their negotiating rights, but that would be a bad move, considering what the rumored offers have been for Bouwmeester so far. Burke makes a bigger "splash" than that every morning when he sits on the toilet.

Now, nice try tap-dancing around this one, but please continue our discussion from the other thread, and answer my question...

I know math isn't your strongest subject, so let me break it down. That's 18 days after your suspension began, or 4 days after your suspension ended. You were free to post the entire time the Canucks were in the Playoffs... so where were you?

It could be me... because your self proclamation of possessing a higher set of
standard sounds like an oxymoron to me. Cocksucker? Yes. Higher standard... No. :D

I was thinking the same thing. Notice he's ignored this like he ignores any other point that shows when he's wrong.

That's just how he rolls.
As soon as someone posts a logical response to his idiotic statements, he just abandons the thread and starts 6 more.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for him to tell me how Burke just "fell" into a Stanley Cup winning team and how the '86 Canadians in front of Roy were inferior to the '07 Canucks in front of Luongo.

Well BJH, you really do avoid anything that you don't have reasonable answers for, and your bullshit answers just don't cut it. You skip over everything that makes you look like the real fool that you are. I hope you enjoy watching the reruns of the first round of the draft on Saturday. Most of us will be watching Friday night. And why don't you answer Inamorato's question (for the 6th. time), about your bullshit answer of why you couldn't post here during the playoff.

1.These Swedish Sissies helped the team to get us into the 2nd. round for 6 games. That is better than 22 teams out of 30, or 73% of the NHL. ---------------22 other teams and their fans wish they would have done as well.

2.
If you look at their stats, the ones you so kindly provided here, Henrik got 314 points in the last 4 years, for an average of 78.5 points per season, and Daniel got 311 points, for an average of 77.8 points per season. That hardly indicates that they were playing their hearts out only last year, hoping to cash in at resigning -- which by the way, they will do.

3. Can't say that I love sucking Swedish cock, I'll leave that up to you Mr. Cock sucking hunter, but I do love Swedish Meatballs. I buy them at Ikea all the time. I don't have a clue (now I know how you must feel all the time) what you mean about the ugly sisters stat. As mentioned above, I looked at them and they were quite impressive to me.

4. Trying to explain anything to you is like driving a nail with a rubber hose, it will never sink in. And you call yourself a true Canuck fan one minute, and in your next breath you proclaim to all how much you hate the Canucks, and everything and anybody connected to them. And you talk about Wagoner's. I think you have seasons tickets for that wagon, for quick on and off passage.

5. You'll get your wish, they'll leave town, but only for the summer. They'll be back when the season opens, sporting new, lucrative contracts. Can't wait to see each of them score close to 100 points this season.

Enjoy the draft and then enjoy the big announcement shortly thereafter :THE SEDIN TWINS HAVE SIGNED WITH THE NUCKS.
