well tomorrow is the day they go to court. who thinks the judge will rule in favor of Jim Balsillie or the NHL? im hoping Balsillie wins only cuz i wanna see the return of a canadian hockey team!!!

i hope he wins as well, let the commish eat shit. i like how they are trying to divide and conquer now by saying there is a group that wants to put a team in north toronto. thats way worse an option then hamilton.

i want jim to win but i think the court will side with the nhl.

Where did you hear that? any links? North Toronto might put the team out of an infringement zone with Buffalo. there is also a lot of "new money" north of toronto. And there are a shitload of hockey fans.

any new Canadian team would be great.

its been all over the news recently. by the way, i don't get this whole "infringement zone" thing. hamilton is more then far enough away from both buffalo and toronto so as to not infringe. thats just a divide and conquer strategy by the league.

here's some free advice nhl............................. put the teams where people actually give a fuck.

phoenix move to hamilton, atlanta move to seattle (key arena is more then adequate), nashville to vegas and then move detroit back to the east where they belong.

then you've got a good lookin nhl, only thing missing would be a team in winnipeg and maybe put one back in quebec city.

The NHL could never let Hamilton have a professional hockey team. If they did, Toronto would want one too!
