We went to a barbeque at my Mom's house last night. It is an annual event that my Dad hosted every year for the family and a few of the neighbours. Since he passed on, my Mom has carried the torch, literally and continued with this tradition. "Phil" was there.

Phil is a guy that has lived in the neighbourhood for more years than anyone can remember. He's known me since I was a child and he knew about me first hand during the time I was working on the street. I wouldn't classify him as a regular but he did see me on numerous occasions during that period of my life. I would do him in his car and he would tell me what a good girl I was.

So Phil is sitting on a lawn chair sipping a beer and he's watching my every move. He's fully aware that I'm out of the game now and he looks at me like I'm dog shit. I know, the problem is not mine, it's his but it still bothers me quite a bit.

My question is, has this ever happened to you? Have you ever met someone at a social function, or at the Safeway or wherever that knew you from your private life? And if so, how did you feel about this chance encounter?

For the guys I guess the question would be have you ever bumped into a SP that you have been with while you were with your significant other?

I'm sorry if this topic has been covered in past. I would just like to hear what you have to say.

I've tan into several SPs in malls, pubs and nightclubs with an SO. I've always just smiled at them no different than I would smile at anyone else and continued on.

I have run into clients at social functions and a smile is how I acknowlege them. Heres something a bit weird: recently I did a couple of sessions with someone who (during some small talk) we found out works with a long time male friend of mine.

My client told me not to mention anything about him (since he want to be discreet and blah blah blah) and so of course I didn't. A few weeks later, to my surprise, our mutual friend asks me out of the blue how so and so was asking him all about this tall eurasian girl and how he knows me.
So much for discretion!

IOW how (1) "seeing young street hookers" necessarily must always (100%
of the time) also mean (2) not having "much respect for women".

I assume you would apply this equally to females who see such "young
street hookers" for lesbian related activities.

Does a person who sees OLD "street hookers" have more respect for women
than the person seeing "young street hookers"?

I have met SP's I "dated" while out with my SO and it was never an issue. I've introduced them to each other where appropriate. If it was ever an issue, it was usually more of an issue for the SP then for me or my SO. Keep in mind that that when these introductioins occurred it was usually on the stroll. Away from the stroll I wouldn't initiate contact unless the SP had indicated it was o.k. to do so. This guy though sounds like a bit of a flake and I would suggest you avoid him as much as possible.

A lot of underage girls work on the street because they can't work anywhere else and they are young and naive enough to be picked up by pimps. The guys who prefer 13-14-15 years olds are the problem, not the girls (or their opinion of Phil, btw.)

But for those who feel compelled to support Phil's preference for young girls, keep it up. I am sure I'm not the only one who likes to know people's views on this topic. I imagine that Phil lacked an erection cuz MissTakes is no longer a teenager.

confusion by saying "UNDERAGE street hookers" instead of "young
street hookers" who are "women". And called them "GIRLS" instead
of "women". Therefore her wording suggests something else in her
mind than what you say, or she was not expressing herself very well.

In Vancouver, BTW, i've never noticed any underage SW girls, but
rather only those in the 20-50 & over range. But, then, i never
go out of my way to seek the illegal. And i don't see anyone in this
thread who supported Phil's alleged preference, so who are you

Any of those 20yr olds show you ID? I can't imagine that you don't know that many girls are under 18 That would be hard to believe. And if that is the case, how is it that LE knows about it and sets up SW stings for those looking for the younger girls? If they are ALL 20, no need for that, huh.

I am not going to get into the statistics of street prostitution but I think anyone here will agree that girls of any age who work on the street are the most vulnerable ones working in the sex trade.

I'm also sure there are guys here who have knowingly or unknowingly picked up underage girls who were 100% focused on their own desires rather than the real reasons why these girls/ladies are on the street in the first place.

Has anyone ever stopped and looked in the eyes of a girl standing on the corner at 3am? Ever wonder why they look so sad/high or what they went through to get to that point? I have and I cant help but think of the horrific stories my friend (a full time counsellor for street girls) has told me about over the years.

Anyone who knows me can say that I'm not a judgemental person, and I'm not one to throw the issue of morality into sex... but when a guy is ok to buy sex from someone is so sad and desparate it says a lot about him as a person, and its nothing good.

But isn't that exactly what you are doing, being "judgemental" and

condemnation and innocence of two general groups regardless of
individual differences?

I didn't respond because, obviously, I am fully aware MissJ can speak for herself. In fact, perhaps you two should meet. That would be "interesting". I don't think she needs "saving" nor available for a 2hour nonstop bbbj, so I wonder what she would do with you. Tho I think it would be fun to imagine.

In any case, others including myself have tried to explain you to yourself before. Someone who denies what they themselves state is not worth any more of my time other than to point out that you are not worthy of the time it takes for me to say it.
