I don't know. You hear over and over and over again from sps, younger and older, that they almost always will prefer older client vs younger ones not because of $ and not because of body, but because of attitude, courtesy and kindness.
Precisely. I've never condescended to her, or hit on her. Always respected and have been polite to her. I know some of the guys I worked with would hit on her, and she didn't appreciate it very much at all.

If she likes you in the same way (which u have yet to confirm), then age won't matter, will it? QUOTE]

Well, I THINK she liked me from day one. The first time I met her, she was very flirty. As I had my game face on, I didn't bother flirting back. Doh! Definate Homer moment. Sometimes she'd compliment me on my colonge and I'd tease her sometimes. So we seemed to have a rapport.

Physically, her ex could have been a younger version of me. Clean-cut, blond hair, blue eyes, good physique. We're both kinda shy and quiet so I think it's a mutual attraction. I look pretty young for my age, so that helps too. She's almost a dead ringer for Jennifer Jones, albeit JJ is ten years older. Always thought she was super cute. ;)

A 14 year difference is no big deal however it all depends on your ages. An 18 yo gal with a 32 yo guy is not likely to work. A 36 yo gal with a 50 yo guy on the other hand has a better chance at success.

Forget any notion of age difference, and tell your friends to shut their yaps. They are just envious. I've been way older than the gal in a couple of relationships.

Yeah I think they definately have their own agendas on this issue. Our mutual male friend is like a protective older brother to her. 'Nuff said there.

The female friend has a big crush on me, so she doesn't want to encourage this at all, even though she's married to someone else! I know she's been busy trying to find her friend a guy. The kicker is, she showed her a picture of a potential date who was 42! My girl thought he was pretty cute too, so I think this proves she doesn't mind the idea of dating an older man. I was too nice to point out this little condradiction to my friend though. ;)

Just a little update on this. I dropped by her workplace on the chance she might be working last night. I was in luck, as she was there. Ended up talking to her for at least two hours, and she hinted at wanting a more 'mature' man, compared to her 22 yo ex bf.

Before I left, I asked her out to dinner and she happily accepted. What a good night...

Good on you......regardless of the opinions of some of the members of this board relationships with younger women can work regardless of income etc....sometimes it is about simply enjoying the person for who they are.

You have to remember when reading many of these responses that many are jaded from hobby and life in general.

I have had a couple of relationships in the last two years and both were with younger woman. The first was 20 years my junior, and while we both clicked personally, she simply wanted to do more than I did, partying and the such....

My current relationship is with a wonderful woman 13 yrs. my junior and thus far things could not be better......

Good luck and think about keeping the rest of this saga off the board and enjoy your time with this young woman......

I am a big believer that numerical age doesn't matter at all as long as there is a connection & the maturity levels aren't too disparate. An age difference of 15 years can be a big deal if one person is 15 & the other 30, but is hardly noticable if one person is 50 & the other 65.
My wife is 12 years older than me and it has never been a problem. I actually think an older woman and younger man is more compatible than the other way. Women have so much energy, even at 53 she is still more youthful and energetic than me. I met her when I was 21 and in her wisdom she insisted no major questions could be answered until I was 25 and sure of what I was asking. Plus, with the usual sexual peaks of each gender we were both in our prime, man those were wild times.

But I gotta tell you about the first time she met my parents, it was discovered for a year she worked in the same town I grew up in. Mom said oh, too bad you didn't meet each other then. My wife politely answered no, he would have been only 9. :)

FWIT, this girl SEEMS pretty mature for a 25 yo. If I read between the lines correctly, she wants to start a family with a stable man. She's quiet, down to earth, and kind of shy, which I like. I'm pretty sure there's some chemistry there.

My biggest issue may be her height. She's a couple of inches taller than me (she's about 6'1", and quite slender. I generally like to be taller than the girl I'm dating. I suppose I'll get used to it though.

The first meeting with her parents might be interesting. Hell, they might end up being only a few years older than me! Talk about an awkward moment...:p

I know a guy who had vasectomy at age 77 because his second wife who was 35 years old just had a second baby with him. He is my hero!:D

How much of a hero will he be when he dies at 90 and the kid s have not father. I think your idea of hero worship is just a little off kilter

Now this is the meat of it

After all is said and done I think this is the most important comment made so far. Allowing yourself to become a bird in a guilded cage is a truly bad idea. Age difference is far less important than financial difference. Note the resentful tone of the post. I say that's the thing that causes most of the problems rather than age difference. That being said, the idea of sex with twenty year olds is just weird to me. I'm 60 and in good shape and I love to fu** and can go almost as long as I could at twenty BUT I can mentally hear EWWWWWWWWW wrinkles - I don't think so - Too creepy for me. Late thirties and up thank you. That's a woman who appreciates an older man.

Another thing to remember. I've dated women up to 17 years younger than me, but most that I was serious with where about 7-9 years younger.

Sounds good on paper man, but you're going to have a higher salary than she is..and it'll be you that carries the load. She's not yet experienced hardship and she won't because you'll carry the load for her. And she'll get spoiled and used to a standard of life. That sets a bad precedent.

Few years back I left a chick that was 9 years younger than me. I made 4 times her wages and she enjoyed a life of new cars, big TV's, a downtown Calgary condo. I finally grew fed up with her, I gave her the furniture, paid off her debt and said "see ya". I remember her calling me in a panic one day after I'd left saying "do you know how much it costs to rent a place in Calgary, how much it costs to live?". Yeah..I do, I been covering the bills for the past SEVEN fucking years chick. Welcome to reality. Guess that $500.00 to cover groceries looks like a deal compared to the 3 grand to pay rent & own a car.

Think about that before you sign on the dotted line. It's nice to have a tight hot pussy to come home too, but in the end brother it'll bit you in the fucking ass. There are A LOT of females that look to a man for stability and because hey..sure beats having to struggle & hustle to make it doesn't it.

I'm of the belief that all people need to experience some hardship in the life. I'm talking about those times when you don't have the funds to pay the bills and you have to juggle things to stay afloat. When a younger woman shacks up with an older guy..life's easy, she bypasses that stage. She gets used to having cars, nice condo's & just floating through life

I've got a buddy who met a woman younger than him. She's a "student" meaning she takes a degree, can't find a job and takes another one. In the meantime he hustles and does 2 jobs. I slowly watch his patience wear out..and his anger grow. 6 years ago, he was like "check out the hot young pussy I've got"...today it's "shes a lazy bitch".
I'm definately going to tread carefully. I know this girl bought a condo last year, with the expectation that her bf would move in with her and help share the expenses.

Well, it didn't happen, and now she's feeling the squeeze of a mortgage, car payment, and all the other bills that go along with it. I really feel bad for her, but still...

...

It is buying into an unfair stereotype to think that the only reason a woman would be with an older man is for money & the only reason a man would be with a younger woman is for sex or for her looks/body.
Violet, I respectfully disagree...

something becomes a stereotype, because it is typically true...

with the odd exception...

men think with their little head...

and women think with their cheque books...

women search for providers, i.e. money...

and men search for breeders, i.e. sex...

not that there is anything wrong with that...

I have been in relationships with men much older than me & in most cases I made more than them & contributed more financially to our combined expenses.
Where do you hang out?;)
