Okay.. so i just talked to her on the phone... Rates are 300 hr.. A bit much for someone who i have no info on.. I ask about half hour rates, she says 150 or 200... Okay.. so i ask which one is it? She says $150.. She sounds hasty on the phone and at this point I'm not too intersted in driving to see her at 130am.
I ask if she is available tommorow and she begins to freak out, saying that she wastes her time on the phone with people not making apointments to see her and people asking questions and inquiring about future availablity instead of booking with her right away. SHe says that the whole time she is on the phone she is missing other calls from potentail clients. She practically bit my head off and was not pleasant on the phone. Needless to say i was not impressed by her phone skills.

Wow, no kidding. If she had of talked nice, you probably would have gone out to see her. Good thing she went all mean. I always think the way someone conducts themselves on the telephone shows what kind of person they are. If you can't be nice through a 5 minute call, what are you going to be like in person.

Maybe this one was just having a bad night, and dudeharsh123 got caught in the crossfire. Consider the calls that normally come in at that hour, and that she is up to take them, just a bad combination. If you like late night calls, I bet you can get better results if you call earlier just to scope things out.

I have to agree too. Anyone that works in a service industry is bound to get inquiries about prices, services, etc.
Especially here where service is so personal and B&S as well as BS and scams are rampant.
I can't tell you how many enquiries I've entertained over the years, some of them too good to believe.
The conversion rate is sometimes as low as 5 and sometimes as good as 50%, but it would be wise to treat everyone like they will be repeat business. You never know where you're 80:20s are coming from (the 20% of clients that make 80% of revenues).
Of course, if it comes to creepos and sketchys ringing up and being pervs, a good ol' fashioned hanging up works well. I can't imagine what kind of weirdos SPs would have to put up with!
She did also post today with a little rant about calling up and being serious about booking or else not wasting her time (it's gone now). As if she thinks we buy based on a CL pic. We do know better than that.
Maybe she's just really honest and frustrated... Or like Harmony said.... (which is still up in a quote BTW).
And although I've never met Harmony, I've got to get her back. We all have slips of the tongue once in a while, but she contributes nothing less than quality and some good laughs. Which reminds me that I'm going to have to pay her a visit sometime!

I am a honest person and im pretty sure most of you will agree with me a long night of calls only by guys tryna get it all for nothing or just getting off by the sound of your voice could frustrate any body aswell, i was getting sleepy ..I apoligize to any body i spoke with that evening, it was a very stressful week so i apoligize to any body that week that i may have been rude to.

Okay, now for my 2 cents on the "crackhead" comment.
Unfortunately for all the actual crackheads out there, "crackhead" has come to symbolize any abberant, "sketchy" behavior. Ie: when someone at my work is all akimbo and making lots of stupid mistakes, I may be heard uttering the statement, "what a crackhead." Or, when I make lots of stupid mistakes, I may say, "I'm on crack today."
Now, by no means am I on crack, nor do I believe that my co-worker is actually on crack. However, the statements are still made. In defence of those of you that find this offensive, it's all part of mainstream, Western civilization. How many times have I commented on what my friend's "momma" said while in bed last night.
