Okay -- here's the thing, Lightbearer. Let me take you seriously, and try to communicate with you. There are very real problems and very real conspiracies in the world.
The Bush cronies really did conspire to build a country in the middle east - Iraq - that would be friendly to American business interests. They really thought they would succeed. The problem with their plot is that they were idiots, and didn't know that they didn't have a chance in hell. They did exploit 9/11 to push their agenda through --- I am sure that it was the first thing they thought of when the planes hit. "How can we spin this to further our agenda?"
But when you start looking for "proof" that they PLANNED 9/11 -- when they didn't even have the resources to "find" weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, it just doesn't make sense.
The simplest solution to any problem is the most likely one, and until conspiracy theorists can overcome that, you can't sell the more outlandish concepts.
The same with "The New World Order." Conniving rich people bribe and influence politicians ALL THE TIME. They always have and they always will. Money is power, and they recognize opportunities. They don't NEED a guiding force to plan some perfect world order --- they work together when they have common interests. They don't need to give the details of their latest plans to Rupert Murdoch to do the propaganda --- he already believes that big business should rule the world. There doesn't need to be a shadowy cabal making decisions -- the people in power are quite capable of screwing things up themselves, in pursuit of more money and more power.
Obama is beholden to Wall Street and the big money brokers, and doesn't have an agenda to change the basic power structure to give "democracy to the people" through some new global power structure that would benefit all of us "little people." Giving trillions of dollars to the banks and insurance companies that caused all the problems in the first place is not going to solve the basic problems. Yes, he's closing Guantanamo and undoing some of the stupidest moves of the previous administration. No, he isn't closing the prison they run in Iraq. No, he isn't the huge agent of change that's needed, but at least he talks a good game, and yes, he is still supporting the power structure that exists, instead of hanging the bastards from hydro poles like they deserve.
There is no reason to suppose that he reports to or receives his instructions from some shadowy group that is really in charge. The usual greedy bastards are enough of a shadowy group to explain what is going on.
If you want to actually be open-minded yourself, read "Shock Doctrine." You can find it easily -- it's a best seller. She writes in a way that makes sense, where you don't have to overlook all the implausibilities found in the sites that you constantly refer to.
And, by the way, Lou Dobbs is a dick.
Please respond in a way that demonstrates you have actually read this, instead of just posting to another link from "infowars."
