I've always been of the understanding that the majority of men really didn't understand the way that breast sizes worked - and simply considered measurements such as 36DDD to mean big.

In fact, the numeric measurment reflects the rib cage size, and the letters reflect the actual breast size.

I have been considering listing my actual breast size which is a 30H, but am hesitant to do so as I feel it may simply confuse more gentlemen.

The reality is that I am much more petite with much larger breasts than a 36DDD would suggest - so gentlemen are sometimes taken aback by the contrast.

I'm asking for MALE comments as to whether they would prefer the actual sizing of 30H be listed, and whether they would even comprehend what that meant.

There is simplicity, albeit inaccuracy in continuing to list as 36DDD.

Actually, Angel, I have no problem understanding bra sizes. But since you brought up the topic, I am a bit curious about yours. ;) Since 36H is not a very common bra size, why did you decide on "obtaining" such large breasts? Do they hurt/bother you at all? What is your natural size?

I'd just list the actual size, if it's 30H then put 30H.

Ginormous is Ginormous :)

You might also want to indicate that they are not natural, I've seen several girls put "(enhanced)" after their bra size to indicate this.

As far as understanding goes, yep, I understand.

the number is the measurement around the ribcage under the breasts in inches plus 5 (I have no idea why they add 5)

The letter tells you the cup size, but it depends on the number.

In your example (30H) that would be the same cup size as a 32G or a 34F or a 36E

Now, from what I understand, doubling the letter is the same as going to the next letter, ie a 36DD is the same as a 36E (I'm not 100% on that part, but I am pretty sure)

So, you'd be a 36E which would be a 36DD as far as cup-size, not 36DDD

Now, to me, 36DD means something VERY different from 30H !!!! Even though the actual boob itself is roughly the same size.

Actually I think its many of the ladies, especially on CL
that don't understand how breast size works.

When you see an ad for a 5'2" asian lady saying she weighs 90 pounds, but has natural 36D you gotta shake your head

Stick With 36DDD Princess

Hi Angel, you bring up a number of good points ( please excuse the pun). I think you are better off keeping with 36DDD. It is a size us guys can relate to. Changing to 30 H could sound small to some and freakish to others. The one comfort you can draw from advertising at 36DDD is you are immediately getting the attention of us breast men who would then be drawn to check out your website and the photography there tells the whole story about your one of a kind figure. Hope this helps.

You could just indicate both.

North American Bra Size: 36DDD
European Bra Size: 30H (76cmH)

In either case: Yum!

I've never understood why the US needs to make EVERYTHING so much less logical. Almost every other country has switched to metric and now they've buggered up bra sizing too. Must be men, they can't do basic math when thinking about breasts.;)

Well I thought I did have a fair comprehension, although all I ever did care to learn was that sizes got bigger as the letters went up. I assumed 30H was the next size up from 36DDD, but if it's metric then yeah, now I'm confused. Is it the same size or is it bigger?

If I see your picture for a reference then 30H will make enough sense to me, I will still assume it's bigger than DDD. If that is incorrect I will still understand you are over proportional to your small frame. But I'm sure what would take me aback is how much more beautiful you are compared to what the photography portrays. I guess I would prefer 30H, I'm a stickler for detail, might as well be accurate. :)

I started to use my actual Bra size 38 G ( or as I get smaller 36 H ?)

I have found that most of my customers get the sizing but only in relation to my height I am 6'2".

I don't think it would be a problem as your pictures show your very busty in relation to your tiny frame.

I personally go by looks, rather than size, guess I'm just a visual kind of guy. When sizes are mentioned I think of two or three things. One if someone says they are all natural, have large breasts and don't want to show the rest of their body, chances are they're overweight, after all breasts as gorgeous as they are, are basically fat tissue.

Secondly if they are thin and have hug breasts, I immediately think of breast enhancements.

So I like them average, perhaps even on the small size, and as it is anyway, I'm much more of a nipple guy than simply a breast man, and I prefer natural to enhanced.

On a personal note I've been seeing the same girl on and off for about 3 years and she's a very thin woman, probably about 5'9" 115-120 and guess what she's got no fat on her and small breasts, just like you'd expect.

Then I guess you are shaking your head in this case as well as I am also. I also find more than a mouthful to be a waste. The perfect size for me would be 34b on a petite girl, 34-36 b or c on an average girl. Of course natural d's are nice as well but they would have to be on a body that can hold them.

I Want It All

I vote for everything. Something like " 30H, Thats Better than 36DDD, Just look at the photos to know what I that means."

If it had to be simple I would go for the most accurate numbers.

30 h dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm like melons on a 12 year old hahahhahahaah im a 58 a ya my back is fucking huge. Funny story, i went to get some test as a young kid ( argentina )cause i had asthma and i was premature. So my parents took me to germany to c a doctor there where they did a 30 day injection prigram on a trial drug for infants that where premature. Turns out they gave me human growth hormone 3 times a day for 30 days, later on my years i did a pulmonary function test to determine how many liters of air i could hold in and the average human is about 4 and a half liters i did 6.8 liters lol. Thats also why i can bench over 300 pounds and 800 with my legs and i dont even work out, when i do my xxl shirts literally start to rip under my arm pits. This could b why my nuts are the size of apples :) hahahahha germans they iz crazy

Actually you are almost right. It is not always plus 5 inches. For instance I wear a 32A -- trust me my ribcage is not 27 inches, my ribcage is actually 30 inches. The added inches are for ease of movement fyi and are proportional to the woman's size. If you added 5 inches to my measurement it would be 20% extra and my bra would just fall off ;)

The cup size is a measure of the DIFFERENCE between the rib cage and the around bust measurements. So while a 40A and a 32A technically are the same cup it looks different on the two women. For me, for instance, as a 32A the measurement around my boobs is 1" larger than the measurement around my ribs. Equates to nice little boobs big enough to fill a hand. BUT if my ribcage were 40inches and my around boob measurement were 41inches I'd be a 40A and you would barely see the boobs.

Here's a reference for determining cup size: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/info/index.jsp?categoryId=222864

So on a smaller person, like Angel, DDD's would look HUGE compared to a 5'10 woman with a healthy and fit body wearing a 36DDD. Nevermind her actual measurement which is bigger!

This is a good thread Angel, I think most men just assume DDD means big but if they are used to bigger girls then they will think DDD is smaller than it really is. Maybe instead of giving a cup size we should start relating them to sporting equipment. For instance I could say I'm small and my boobs are a bit bigger than a tennis ball. B-cup girls could say softballs. What would that make yours? Soccer balls? I'm not sure lol

Oh oh and anyone with big but natural boobs (big droopy then) could say they are footballs ;)
