quite frankly, i like being an sp- the knowledge, insight and beauty of men is an incredible thing. being an sp is like having a window into the secret lives of men. we get to see men being men, especially in a group or stag party situation! so cool! sometimes i feel sorry for "square" women who don't know what i know... then i shake my head and realize if everyone knew, i wouldn't be special anymore.
it's been my career for 23 years- people always seem to think we want to get out of the sex industry or that we were forced into the trade, but that's just not the case. the men i have known whether it was a "one time" or longterm friendship, have shaped the person i am and defined the way i see the world.
their experiences with joy, pain, life...are my vicarious experiences.
i am an artist however and these things have defined that aspect of my life. my poetry, screen play, music, writing and costuming all reflect the impact of my career on my view of the world.
i am also a sex industry rights advocate. another aspect of my life defined by my career.
if i had to be something else...i would move to New Zealand!
