Curiosity got the best of me. I also saw the CL advert and wondered if this place was legit.
I phoned and spoke to a lady with a pronounced oriental accent, and thought at least I could check this place out.
I am not one to frequent CL advertisers, as I am concerned about my safety and the legalities of many of these operations. There are too many good studios to waste my time walking into some dubious residence and taking an unnecessary risk.
I walked upstairs in a fairly new building to room 204 (there was no sign), shortly I was greeted by a lovely chinese lady. However I wanted to see all the staff they had on duty and two other ladies came out.
If you find oriental ladies attractive this is a place to visit. I ended up asking YoYo (a Korean lady) for a session.
First they have one shower. At this time they have curtains up to provide privacy, they do have plans to put in a real wall. After stepping out of the shower, YoYo was there with an extra size robe and helped me towel off and then escorted me back to the room.
The room was a nice size, very clean, and I found it to be relaxing and the large massage table very comfortable.
The session was not rushed and the attendant was very obliging, enthusiastic, and had very good massage skills. I have to admit that I had never had my ears rubbed and manipulated that felt so good. She was attentive to my feet also, compressing the points on the base of my feet that apparently correspond to inner parts of my anatomy.
I will state that this experience was on par with the sessions that I have enjoyed in east asia when I was a young man, but that is another story.(essentially a beautiful 98lb thai woman contorting my 240 lb body like a pretzel).
YoYo asked me about PERB, and I stated that I read it sometimes. She expressed a real concern as to the last review posted, and has spoken to the staff member involved to ensure better communication between their clients takes place.
This place has heart "jai" and if they can get over the bumps from their start up, fellow Perbites will have a destination they will want to try at least once.
For orientalists and lovers of the kind, a good canadian author to read is Christopher Moore at http://www.cgmoore.com/
The website for My Asian Baby is at: http://www.myasianbaby.com/ They now also have a license for their business.
