$350 the new rate or WTF?

I have noticed that some of our local talents have quietly raised their rates up to 350. Just in the past 2 months, there were a couple of SPs I planned on seeing but their rates has since gone up to 350. So I wrestled with my decision for awhile and decided not to see them. I did so not because I cannot afford it but because at that price there's much better use for your money. I bought a pretty decent notebook by not going to see those 2 SPs.

I know this topic has been done to death here and how polarizing this subject can be. And yes I agree that the ladies can charge whatever they want but as a pooner I am drawing a line in the sand at 300. What are your thoughts?

I can appreciate (maybe not necessarily agree to pay) that rates go up. If service provided is added value, I see no reason why the ladies could not raise their prices accordingly. Yes it may mean some of their original clientelle will not remain, but for every client lost due to pricing, they will likely replace the lost revenue with the clientelle that tip well or pay the higher fees.

If you think about a lady who has been in this business for some time, she will have come across many individuals who would pay her more than her published rates. Over the months and years, by continuing to provide excellent service to those clientelle, she could "eliminate" lower paying customers.

To think prices will go down because pooners draw lines in the sand at different levels is not realistic. There will always be people who buy BMW's and people who buy Hyundai. People can be very satisfied with their choices regardless of levels of cost for their needs.

That is not to say you can't find great value for less. Even the best sellers do have promotional bargains.

Besides, these days in Vancouver, prices aren't the biggest concern. Selection is. Where the fukk are all the SP's under, say, 23? I can count them on one hand. You know, the ones we all wanna boink. Well, me anyways. Can't speak for everyone else. I want the fresh ones, the ones that haven't been 'numbed' by the trade yet. And on top of that, they gotta be in decent shape. So yeah, forget the under-23 BBW's, cause they just don't count in my book. (Pay me perhaps....) So it's a definite supply/demand situation ATM. Wait it out, the tide will turn. A correction is imminent. In the meantime, I'll end up buying alot of shit I don't need.

I disagree Track. I played the vancouver A circuit from 89 - 95 and I had no problems with the groupie thing! God I miss those days. And yes the sex was available 24 - 7 !

True. There are 20yr olds who've been doing this longer than some mature sps. If they started under age you know they didn't have the benefit of experience to make their business fit them rather than try to fit into the biz.
They get jaded pretty fast.
Some guys like the younger "untried" ones because these are the ones who don't know enough to charge more for the services they offer, they don't limit their services in order to maintain their continued health and don't have simple precautionary measures to protect their safety.
