I think the term originally stood for P(ride), I(ntegrity), G(uts). Though I'm not 100% sure of that.

Yes clearly the video shows an instance of unprovoked attack on a civilian by a police officer, or maybe the officer recognized someone with a warrant and was trying to arrest him. Whatever the case may be, your relentless attack on police is pathetic and a bad reflection on you. Most police are good people but you seem to childlishly paint all of them as corrupt. Dude, you haven't seen corrupt yet. I'll bet you got tasered a couple of times and screamed like a little 8 year old girl.

and i dont hate ALL police. i like vancouver police actually, some of the female officers are SMOKIN hot. but if u knock a guy off his bike like that then u are a pig. how about i put on a badge and knock u off your bike and crack your head open putting you into critical condition and then charge YOU with assault. or taser a 16 year old 19 times. it was suspicious a young man be walking home so late after his job. next thing u know hes fallen off the bridge 30 feet KNOCKED his foot OFF. broke his back 100% paralyzed, police i mean GODS come up and he wont respond to commands from the GODS so they tasered him 19 times then booked him. not a 100% on this but i believe it started with the black panthers in california in the 60's. while i'm not the hugest fan of the way a lot of cops carry themselves or the choices they make, i'm really not a fan of that term for them either.

one cop screws up and that makes them all pigs...grow up. four cops got killed in alberta and half the country cried. just because one stupid guy on a farm killed them does that make all farmers idiots and murderers? your reasoning argues yes they are.
this cop in the video is not in the same league as 99.99 % of the good policemen and policewomen out there. in my old profession we relied on the police to protect us while we did our work under hazardous circumstance. many times they insisted in entering potentially dangerous envoirnments to make sure it was safe for us to do our jobs. not once did one of them hesitate to watch our backs or go first to ensure our safety.
yes there are some bad apples in the barrel...we should not be surprised...like us they are drawn from the population at large...why do they have to be perfect..why does one bad one make them all pigs....where would we be if they all said screw you and walked off the job in the face of constant criticism. and no i am not saying we overlook the bad actions/actors..but lets concentrate on them and their isolated actions....weed them out..and support the good ones...they deserve it.

John Howard Society- john school
currently there are no policies or procedures for ethical engagement of sex workers or consumers when engaging us , so they do what ever they want
like close down 20 strip clubs in 3 years
raid 73 health enhancement centers with no arrests just so they appear to be doing something about "the sex worker situation"
like try to start a program to take consumers cars here in van like they do in edmonton.
let's not kid ourselves, even though a few officers are good, the police only care about profiting from us not protecting us. if you engage with the police they will treat you without dignity, violate your confidentiality and treat you like a criminal whether you are a sex worker or sex consumer.

The same when I travel, it may be humorous to listen as I try to communicate in their langauge but I respect people enough to try. Use a little respect here, there is no need for insults and racism.

And just to let you know, ALL training for sworn police constables in BC is provided at the Justice Institute of BC in New Westminster, not the US or Mexico. And ALL training of RCMP sworn constables is provided at RCMP Depot in Regina, Saskatchewan.
