Thanks! I'm picking up my latex "avacado green" military outfit today. Too bad it didnt come in time for the Candian Forces exhibition at Canada Place. I'm looking for a tank or other military type background for a shoot. Stay tuned

There's a tank in front of the armoury on Beatty St. It's between Dunsmuir and Georgia, close to the SkyTrain entrance. If you are quick, you might be able to snap a few pictures early in the morning.

It seems like you know all the good photo spots downtown! I have actually thought of that tank but its a pretty busy spot. Maybe I'll work some photoshop magic and superimpose my own image...

Trying to get a shoot on that tank could be a bit iffy. Got to remember there's a few guys in that reserve unit that are VPD and they don't have sense of humor. There is a military vehicles collectors club that has decent variety of vehicles you could probably get your hands on. I have an old King Tiger Tank at home, but that would be a bit of trip just for some pictures.

Thanks for the offer uncleg...but I've decided to just photoshop a military background and shoot in a studio. I'm not to worried about VPD (taking fully clothed pics next to a monumental tank on display isnt disrespectful) but more about getting the right shot in public. The display we had at Canada Place was pretty impressive though
