Vish's Problems ...
could seriously affect the Industry in Edmonton. Until this Sting I have not been aware of any attempt by LE to lay Common Body House criminal charges at a MP in Edmonton. The City of Calgary has used this technique to destroy the MP industry and move the SP's back to the street and escorting.
I hope LE's desire to close Vish is not a forerunner to dark days in the future of the Industry. IMHO to put all these SP's back on the street or escorting, in very unsafe environmnets and late hours would be a very bad move by Edmonton LE.

Trawler, I think that the bawdy house charge is not a move to clamp down on the industry but on the predatory actions of Visha.

While I agree with the majority that this is probably a one-off situation, it's good to keep in mind that the bawdy-house law is always a tool that LE can keep in their pocket and use when they need to.

Bylaw and Vice tried to NOT license Peter but he made a huge stink. They held him back for over 6 months. His Police clearance was held actually.
I have no details on how he finally got his clearence but the city licensing and the police tried.
