I think it might depend on whether you are seeing a regular SP that you have developed a good comfortable reputation with. They may offer longer service or MSOG or something to honor your special day.

My birthday is in a couple of weeks and the sp I see regularly always gives me a freebie on my birthday

The advantage to seeing an SP on your birthday, is that after she sucks you off, you can go to Denny's on your way home and have dinner for free, as long as you can prove it's your birthday.
I have my 50th coming up, but I think doing anything, like an SP, would be a ridiculous move on my birthday. It sets up all kinds of expectations that can't be fulfilled.
Better to pick a day when you really are in the mood for whatever you like, rather than picking an arbitrary date and putting all this pressure on yourself for something to happen.
By the way, I did go to an SP on my 25th birthday, and it was a bomb. So the price of experience.

A couple of years ago, I saw a SP that I had been seeing fairly regularly on my birthday. I mentioned it was my birthday and she said it had been her birthday 2 days earlier. At the end of our delightful time she slipped me $ 50and said have a happy birthday,which I thot was really sweet. I told her so and gave it back to her & told her to buy herself a treat for her birthday. Even though she has since retired I still remember her fondly!
