BYRAM, Miss. -- A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of running a brothel out of a Byram ATV and bike dealership, officials said.
James Little has been charged with operating a massage parlor without a permit, prostitution and felony possession of Ecstasy and marijuana.
Hinds County deputies said they raided Little's business Monday and found two bedrooms set up to look like massage parlors.
"They had hidden cameras that led to a 60-inch television in Little's living room where he could watch what went on in the bedrooms," said Deputy Nick Clark. "He admitted that clients would pay between $100 and $150 for massages and other services. A number of their clients appear to have paid by credit card too, which I find amazing. I have never seen anything like that in my 16 years of law enforcement."
Clark said deputies confiscated some of the videos and are reviewing them along with other electronic video and recording devices that were seized.
Clark said deputies learned about the alleged brothel six months ago.
"We arrested a former employee and she told us what was going on there," Clark said. "Based on her assertions, we set up a sting where she called and got an undercover officer in as a potential client. He went in and was able to negotiate a price for sex and we were able to make an arrest of the woman. Based on previous information we had received and info that was uncovered while he was there, we requested a warrant to search facility."
Deputies arrested Nicole Clarke, 29, during the raid. Clarke is charged with prostitution and giving false information to investigators.
