Calgary review section

The Calgary review section is full of ads these days. Why aren't the visiting SPs using the advertising section instead? Is it because it costs them?

Same thing goes for the Edmonton section. It has been that way for awhile now. At one point the Mods were trying to get all the escorts to post in the advertising section and it worked for a little while until all hell broke lose again and every visiting escort was back to spamming all over the place.
I think the Mods finally just gave up, and who can blame them.

Funny though...

The Calgary Section of CAF is really heavy on reviews (yeah still some advertising present), yet the Edmonton section is very quite. Strange the difference of participation between sites.

More like the Mods are understaffed. The only one around is BCMod, and he probably already has his hands full in the Vancouver sections alone.

That is why I think the self-appointed forum cops around here should either:
a) PM BcMod of any problems so they can be dealt with, or
b) quit whining like the babies they are and volunteer for mod positions

For the most part I moderate through PM's. What I mean is that because there is NO WAY I can read every post in every thread in every forum, unless I happen to run across something, I am advised of issues by PM's from SP's and pooners alike.

I have a little cadre of mini-mods who send me PM's on issues they have spotted; of course most of them have their own agenda, or favourite forum, so for the most part they only PM me about those, but that is quite enough to keep me busy.

I spend about 2 - 3 hours a day on PERB moderating. Way more than I had ever planned.

If there is something specific about the Calgary / Edmonton area that you want me to look at, send me a PM with a link to the thread in question, if there is an issue about a particular post, in addition to the link tell me the post number(s) you want me to look at.
