I heard from a co-worker that there is a place on / in the Whyte Ave area offering topless hair cuts? Is this yet another urban myth or fact???

That just sounds stupid, to cut hair you do need to be skilled at it, so even though I may not style my hair into anything special I rather have someone who knows what their doing rather then someone who has got a nice rack pressed up against my back.

Will you do brazilians on men?

You might have enough customers to open your own salon, lol.

WTF, what a dumb concept!

Really this sounds ridiculous  What we REALLY need are some decent strip bars where you can get a REAL lap dance ;)

Well there is/has been at least two shops like that in Edm over the years.
One was at whitemud and 106 and the other was in the westend in the same area as the cove.
Not sure if either made a go off it!
I had mt hair cut at the whitemud one and it was all good.

Hairstylist once told me that the only difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is SIX WEEKS :)

For what its worth the concept has been around in asia for a while. You can walk into some barber shops and get a trim and what ever.

I have always thought it would be great to go to a place in Edmonton that really had all the services for a man's spa. Haircuts, hot towels, footcare, real great massages, etc.

If the haircut did not cost $240 I would probably go ;)

I remember that promotion. The ladies got a few guys with their head shots and when you went there, yes you had to take your shirt off, so no false advertising.

Isn't there a place in Calgary called Simple Scissors that offers haircuts + extras? Seems a little weird to me too, but maybe it's just caused I haven't tried it

Not sure if my info is 100% correct, but Kittie @ Revive mentioned in the past that she is a hairdresser by trade, and has extensive experience working in a high-end salon.

Sounds like she maybe able to help?
