I have heard, from a reliable source that an escort agency has opened up shop almost right across the road from the YMCA on Craigflower. I could not believe that the city would allow them to set up shop in a residential neighbourhood, let alone near an institution such as the Y where young kids & mothers are coming and going all day. I am withdrawing my 3 kids from any programs at the Y until the agency closes up shop or moves.

The house should be easy to pick out, with the numerous "clients" coming and going all afternoon & late into the night.

Perhaps we should be good neighbours & monitor who is coming & going and maybe we should picket in front of the suspected incall location until they close or move.

In most other Canadian cities, the police shut down ALL incall locations (bawdy houses)... Why are incalls allowed to thrive in Victoria, yet are shut down in most other Canadian cities?

You are in fact misled as the incall is in Vic west and Vic west has it's problems but to say CA moving in is going to make things worse is plain STUPID. Vic west has been a place of drug and gangs for more than 10 years and only a caring government has the resources to make the changes needed.

To pull kids out of the Y, Y that is STUPID, I see that as punishing the kids they do not know what is going on, they want go have fun with their neighborhood friends. To put your moral fears into them is abuse.

Haven't been to the new location yet but am looking forward to it. I was never worried about the old one and will not worry about the new one. At least there is parking at the park and the chicken on the run......and its not in a complete res area.........

I Call Bullshit

Well I just did some reading on here and something does not add up with GR23.

He/Her/Them have 6 posts including this bash on CA. 3 of the others are related to a "Bad Date" with Demi at CA which means that 4 outa 6 posts to his/her/their name are slags at one agency with no perb credit to the Handle GR23.

I mean the first post against Demi is dated Feb 26th, a whole 10 days before his slam on CA location and his statment of pulling his kids from the Y in this thread dated March 7th.

He/She/Them says "he heard it from a reliable source". Well sorry does he/she/them think we are all that stupid?? I mean they have bean in their new location to my knowledge since before he saw Demi, which means he saw Demi in their new location.

I would say that GR23 has a personal hate on for CA and I myself feel he/she/them has low creditability, at least with me.

Anyone else have thoughts or comments on my post???

Re-read his original post. Carefully. He is not saying he's taking his kids out - he's simply copied and pasted a posting in the "Rants & Raves" section on Craigslist.

Relatedly, I agree he might have a touch of hate-on for a particular agency, but so what? We're all entitled to our opinions and so far I haven't seen anything that jumps out as a red flag. This place has gotten awfully mud-slingy and accusatory.

I guess I too am sick of the attacks and slagging that takes place on this site.
That said I think this post was started with the wrong intentions and to add to that this is a review section. I fail to see how this thread is even a review but rather a waste of time and space.
