As my handle states, I need to drive 4 hours to get to Edmonton. It is not a short trip.

Some of you may remember just over a year ago that I tried to see Karma and was stood up because she had a duo with our friend T.

Well, I had another appointment with her this morning and guess what? She didn't show!!!! No call, no PM - NOTHING!!

Once I can understand, but twice I'm starting to take it personally.

I resolve that I will no longer attempt to see Karma. It's too bad, she's beautiful.

Thanks to those of you that have PM'd me saying the same thing happened to you. One question though, WHY DIDN'T YOU POST IT?

I could've saved myself the time and effort and made an appointment with another SP.

My intent was to inform PERBerts that this might happen to them if they book with Karma, no ill will was intended. I am however questioning those of you that have been stood up and not let the rest of us know.

Probably because Karma is a popular SP here, and many of these guys do not want to speak up for fear of backlash.

It is never easy to post one's negative experiences, and I must applaud you for coming out and saying what needs to be said. Before you wrote about this, I never knew Karma has issues managing her appointments. Will your experiences stop me from wanting to see her? Probably not. But it sure will be a factor in my decision making on whom to see when the pooning money becomes available.

I do not think any guy has to worry about a backlash if what he is posting is objective and factual. It's when a guy is pissed because he had a lousy session and runs immediately to PERB and starts making direct or backhanded insults, unsupported inferences about an sp's attitude, and other subjective statements that he opens his post up to rebuttal.

Fort MacGuy did a good job of sticking to the facts. Eventhough he is rightfully pissed about missing his appointment he didn't call Karma a bunch of names or question her attitude and commitment to her job like many other guys tend to do when they have a bad experience.

agree with Kashs s.g., there are some girls that will not accept any negatives what so ever and attack you themselves, and have their "friends" come in to further shred you. one particular studio seems infested with this tactic

I find it very hard to believe that someone in this industry would be so flaky as to stand you up. Especially Karma.

I never posted to warn Fellow Pooners about ...

Karma "no shows" because she was likely with me at the time:p

To be honest, "shit happens" and I generally like the "make-up session" to fix the wrong I have been dealt. Karma is one of the best at making things right when she booboo's.

So...

how many visits does the man have to make before he gets this "make-up" session? He has come down from Ft. Mac twice and she has stood him up.
That session had better be mind altering amazing.;)

My time with Karma

I have had many ( though not nearly enough ) sessions with Karma ranging from 1 hour to an all nighter and have never been disappointed on any level - quite the contrary.

A broken appointment is a broken appointment all the same :D She should have let him know regardless, but you have to have patience. A good example is indicated by my fiasco at Legends awhile ago. The story is, I booked an appointment to see Vienna & Josie in a duo, BUT the problem is they don't do duos! It was a HONEST mistake by the receptionist, BUT the girls were not directly responsible for the scheduling issue in this instance, whereas in Karma's case she is more or less an independant SP responsible for here own shedule and bookings. Is she wrong not to have called about not making it . . . yes, but I would forgive her myself, especially considering she is on my to-see list
