Since I started pooning in 02 to mid 07 I have racked up 9k on my credit card to pay for HK, Thailand, and Vancouver pooning. Now its down to 6.5k that I owe and I am paying 200 dollars a month.

I wanted to write this for the newbies that are thinking about pooning. Be very careful of what it can do for your wallet and the long term damage. I was out fo control.

Your example is a good one. I might add that if this is all you spent, you are likely in a lower category of $$$$$ spent. So yes pooning can be more than a little expensive. If you don't have the cash, don't do it, because $2000 a year can easily grow to $20,000.

I am sure there are many horror stories out there and many pooners who spend even more than $20K a year.

Your post is one of the best on here. It isn't about fantasy, but reality for many.

Cash is the only way to go. Many times I've postponed pooning for a week or two untill cash is handy.

On the other hand you do have experiences HK, Thailand etc that many never get. And once you're old and rich you still can't get it. You have recognized that you went over board and that's good, but don't beat yourself over it as you have the memories that will always be there.

Think of you in the old folks home and the stories you'll be able to tell - hell I think you'll have all the old men envious and all the old ladies curious...and who knows...maybe wanting a little sample (and just think of how some of those aroebics queens who exersized all their life will look - wrinkly maybe but not fat

I agree with nube. Thanks for sharing with us Honda. I don't suffer from a poon addiction but I have had other addiction issues in the past. Its not easy. And sex is a wonderful thing. Especially sweet, hot, wet, energized sex with different women every night. No wonder you spiralled out of control. Hope you manage to tame your tiger and get back on your feet.

Thanks for posting. I have a feeling there are a lot more men and women than you know who can relate to your problem.

Agreed. Without the arguments or the "why are you hanging out with your buddies again? who cares about watching hockey?" discussions as well.

As for the whole point of this post, I'm sorry to hear you got so in debt! I think the idea of setting aside money for fun and pooning and all that stuff is a good idea - that's what I do, set aside money for fun and that way you only spend what you have. Hindsight is 20/20, though.

9k in debt for pooning isn't bad at all. I have a friend who is 24 and is something like 50k in cc debt for assorted party-life related debt (he used to poon alot too btw). That's a lot more than you, but still he has some consolidated plan going and recently got a really good job.

To be honest, each and every time I leave a session, I regret the money that I spent. I feel that I flushed money down the toilet.

I think the problem is that there is no consensus on where to draw the line between pooning and a destructive sexual addiction(or it's impossible to say where the line is). I guess it's like alcohol, drugs, gambling, porn, whatever.... noone sets out to be addicted, noone can pinpoint the exact moment that you become an addict, but once you are, there is no going back.

This is exactly what has worried me the most from day one of participating in this hobby. The only thing I did was set a budget and a schedule as way to try and self-monitor whether I was going out of control. I think that helped. I never got into a situation where I over did it which would have been easy to do. But in hindsight if I had even fewer visits I probably would not have missed them much. Overall I'm glad I tried this, but it is very risky in more ways than one.

LOL, no i think mine went to the lease on her car plus she got some really nice jewellry on top of the other fees, who cares you only live once. and i never expect anything more than sex even if im close with an sp or have seen her for numerous visits

Hey everyone. My name is jyackie and I'm a pooh-aholic. I'm addicted to pooning. I can't seem to go a week without at least several sessions. I get these horrible withdrawal sypmtoms and urges and I can't seem to shake this addiction. The other night, I couldn't help myself. Once twice thrice...non-stop...I'm not in debt yet but I'm glad there is someone out there that has had a similar experience to share.
