Was watching this on SHowcase the other day, and she brought up a really good point that has always been a bother for me.

She mentions that she only uses men's deodorant and never uses perfume. That way, there is no trace left on a man once he leaves (except in my case, a silly grin). So many times I've left an encounter with her telltale scent on me, and it can be hard to explain that.

A professional should have anything to cover up with heavy scents, personally, I think fresh soap and water scent is a tremendous aphrodesiac...

Thoughts?

John.Tard you should rethink the shower theory ...

there are several fragrances designed for women that will remain on your body, clothes and hair long after you have showered.

Michael by Alfred Sung is one such fragarnce. It's power to linger is only matched by a Skunk. I have more than one married pooner friend who has been "caught in the wily web of deception" on just a single foreign fragrance on their personna. This ocurring after they have scrubbed their bodies raw in the shower.

I remember once in Vegas with a friend that he passed up a gorgeous red-headed Playmate who had just walked off the Playboy Review Show Stage to play some Blackjack ("BJ" - punn intended) because her fragrance was so strong and clingy that we both new his SO, on the trip with us, would notice it immediately. We actually smelled it for hours later, just because we sat next to her at the BJ table.

BTW wouldn't BJ tables be a wonderful thing to have in Vegas ;)

I just wanna know how much the Playmate was going to charge.

Well, I hear they have this great new thing called a shower. Yeah, apparently if you take one after sex all the smells go away.

Wow.

What will they think of next?

Hey, maybe it might be a good idea to try one before sex too?
Thanks for the tip... most SP's have a steam laundry in their suites but I always refuse that as well.

Perfume clings, many will outlast a quick shower, they're designed to endure. And most SP's greet you with a quick hug and kiss at the start, before you get a chance to disrobe (unless you're Really anxious toi get going...) and if they've just applied fragrence, it is at its strongest, and permeates your clothes.

I just don't think the ladies need to douse themselves in scent, subtlety can be much more effective. And there are lots of natural scents that are nice too... vanilla is a favourite of mine... and far less dangerous to be caught with.

It should be common sense - but to be on the safe side, request no scents.

The only time I will wear perfume is if it is specifically requested. Even then, it will be done very lightly, and anything I was wearing or touched (pillow cases etc.) are thown into the laundry right afterward).

If you think a lady may be wearing perfume, simply ask her to be certain she doesn't for your tryst.

I haven't been to the incalls of other ladies - but I would assume they are similar to mine. A number of soaps and body washes in various scents (from unscented to vanilla, fig, oceanus and other more manly varieites) so that a gent can match up with his usual scent. A few varieties of male spray deoderants and body sprays (axe, lynx etc.) for him to select from when he gets out.

Clothing never has perfume of scents on it, so when his jacket, shirt etc. are hung up, chanel doesn't transfer from my dress onto his clothing.

You can't be too cautious...and I would imagine most ladies would adhere to similar practices. If you are still leary, bring your own body wash, deoderant along.

Or...if you are competly paranoid, pick up some perfume from a department store and have it wrapped and well hidden somewhere. If you ever get caught smelling like a woman, pull it out and say "I picked this up for you earlier. I was hoping to suprise you with it later, but I really don't think the surpise is worth a possible argument. Some perfume must have gotten on me when I was sampling for the perfect scent for you. I love you honey!":)

Have you ever greeted a lady with a hug and and a kiss? If she wears perfume then BAM you have perfume on your shirt and/or jacket. And I don't wear those when I shower.

But the worst of all is cigarette smoke. Everything from your socks to your hair smells. Tricky problem, that one. :(

Or of course ... don't participate if getting caught is a life altering occurence ... since I have said it before, if you are in a relationship, don't cheat ... get out if you want to be free and single.

But that is just my thoughts.

Up north
stock the shelves, ladies!

I've noticed that several of the ladies stock men's soaps, deodorants, and even colognes in the washroom. Once I even saw soaps that were in use in local hotels. It's a nice service for their regulars and helpful for "tourists" as well. :) I wonder how they would explain the extensive supply to hubby or to the boyfriend? Like Dr. Jones, I like the lingering scent...but I've never had to go home and explain how it got there.
