No body buys a Saab anymore, If you must buy used and hose them because they hold no resale value whatsoever. They have a nice sounding stock exhaust is all I will say.
I test drove a Saab Aero Convertible last week and I found it to be fast and a lot of fun to drive. I don't know what you mean about their holding the resale value, it seems to be about on par with BMW and MB (ie: drastic price drop in the first 3 years of between 1/4 to 1/3, but levels off thereafter). The only thing I didn't like about it was the typical Swedish interior: too plain, seating was too upright, dash and center console were too perpendicular, and the whole feeling was like sitting in a bathtub. It was a nice distraction though from what I'm always driving these days. But I must say, Saab engines are to die for. I had one in my Triumph TR8 long ago (sure wish I had that car again). I don't know if the military technology has anything to do with the engines, but it sure feels like it!

Price is pretty good, but I also then went to test drive the new Volvo C70 Convertible at the unending behests of my Volvo-crazy friend. That car is beautiful compared to the Saab and the interior is also much less Ikea-like, almost Bmw except it still has that vertical center column (guess they still want you to feel that Swedish touch after all). It's very fast... but it's front wheel drive. No fun.

Unfortunately both the C70 and the Aero convertibles don't look very sporty (although the Volvo is better looking in real life, looks terrible in pics - yet the Aero looks better in real life than in pics). Even the new Bmw 33x convertible looks far less sporty over the previous model. What is it these days with this class of car? More power over previous models, but looks downright pedestrian.

This is the previous model Bmw 3xx convertible, much more aggressive looking than the 2007 model:

What do you guys think of ml320s? A good buy or something definitely to avoid?
IMHO, the original ML's are pretty poorly designed. Drive neither like a car nor a truck nor a SUV. Just never liked driving the thing. And the storage wasnt all that usefull. I wasn't overly impress with it. The never ones are better. But I'd take and X5's over the ML's.

Are you interested in a SUV?

What is the price range that you are looking for?

I assume you are looking for a used one. As they dont make the 320 aNYMORE. My friend's got a ML550 in really good condition if you are interested.
