I was the one attacked

I was the one attacked last night and it was scary as hell!. I contacted Karma to post it ASAP (my laptop was at the office) so nobody else on this board would be put in the same situation. My lack of experience to the hobby put me in a situation I am lucky to have escaped, lesson learned.

Thanks Karma for getting that information out last night and hopefully it prevented somebody else from making the same mistake.

That happened to me on Monday. Except I was able to get away. Derek, be glad that you were able to walk away from that. I feel HORRIBLE right now, I should have posted something. Sorry dude, at least you have the balls I didn't.

It was well staged, she kept tell me that she was coming right down and for me to wait at the door. Two guys walked up and asked for some smokes, I told them I didn't have any. I noticed that one of the guys was moving to back me into a corner and started to grab something out of his pocket. He wanted me to come closer as he had something to show me. I saw the glare of the knife and ended up hitting the guy with the knife and ran to my car.

I turned around as soon as I got to my car and saw them walking towards me. I wanted to phone the cops, but I chickened out.

Man, I'm shaking while typing this. I'm sorry again for not saying anything guys, I'm sure I was the first to make contact.

Here is what happened

I have have had PMs from people wanting to know what took place so I will post it for everyone to read.

It happened very similar to golfers experience. I was waiting for her to buzz me in and it was taking some time. Finaly a black guy came down to the door and said I'm here to take you upstairs, right away I knew something was wrong. I played dumb and said I was there to pick up my buddy. Then I saw another Black male come up from behind me pull a knife and jabbed it in my side and said "get the f#&k inside", No way was I going in because I figured I would be dead. We had a nasty struggle and I broke free from them and they kept coming after me I started tossing some money on the ground to keep some distance one would pick it and the other kept coming so I threw more down. by this time I was in the middle of the street and managed to get free.

Thank Christ I didn't follow through with a visit to this woman. I was supposed to go at 10:00 PM on Monday as she had things to do and places to go. I wanted a mid afternoon appt. (I think I know why she didn't want to accommodate me, now). I decided that I wasn't going to wait 7 hours and visited to WRO.

This girl and I continue to MSN back and forth as she seems desperate to get my money (HMMM!). The question I now have is, do I try to do something as she wouldn't have a clue that I am aware of the mugging situation.

You could arrange a time to meet with her (them) at a specified time. Then make an anonymous call to the police, explaining what’s happened, and giving them the time and place to meet. With luck, EPS may send an undercover cop for the meeting.

I haven't cancelled my Thursday night meeting. So I will confirm with them that the appointment is still a go, and then make a call to the police tonite.

L.E. and the anonymous phone call

I'm not sure if I would be believed if I placed an anonymous phone call (and before you ask, YES, I would be too concerned to provide my identity).

I have a brother in L.E. and he doesn't have much respect for the ladies in the industry, or the guys who partake in the hobby. I don't think that his view is much different than most of the m/w in L.E.

Also, given resources are thin with the EPS, do you think they would respond to such a call? I don't know; I'm just asking.
