So, I'm watching Survivor last night, and Yau is looking like a force to be reckoned with. They go to a commercial break, and when they come back, Yau has been voted off. Those bastards never even showed his Tribal Council!

Or was I hallucinating the whole thing?

If anyone actually saw what happened, maybe I need to switch to a different brand of 'shrooms.

Nope...same thing happened when I was watching it. I checked the website and they don't have the Tribal Council posted. You can watch them vote (ooooh!) but not the lead up to it.

I watched it on satelite at 5pm so I saw it all. Dreamz reneged on his deal with Yau and kept the immunity necklace, then even Yau's best buddy Earl voted for Yau. He could have voted for Cassandra and made it a 2-2 split in which case they would have a fire building contest but no, Earl knew he couldn't beat Yau. Earl did win because of it.

What really bugged me and I couldn't shut up about it is that the deal with Dreamz was the truck in exchange for immunity if he won it. So when he reneged he should have said "I changed my mind, you can have your truck back Yau-man" but Dreamz is such a scammer/con that he kept the truck after reneging on the deal! And Yau was stupid saying stuff like "don't feel guilty about the truck, you can keep it" Screw that he should have used that in his deals with Dreamz "if you change your mind you can just give me the truck back" then maybe Dreamz wouldn't have reneged! Or Dreamz could have said "I'll give immunity to you if you vote Cassandra, not me" and Yau-man is a man of his word and would have done it! Dreamz wouldn't have won either way, even playing the "oh I grew up sleeping in the dirt" card. I hope he gets harrassed everywhere he goes!
Yau so outclassed the rest of the players, it's embarrassing he wasn't treated with more respect. I guess he could out-play and out-wit them, but in the end he couldn't out-fuck them.

I was so pissed off that his Tribal Council was edited out that I turned off the TV. I didn't care who won.

What really chaffed my nuts was that Dreamz had the temerity to turn around at the end and say that it was planned that way, that he never intended to give up the immunity.

Global sucks

Dreamz is the scum of the earth. He should have had the decency to at least give Yau the truck back. Dreamz tried to say that it was all a game, so that is what makes it OK to lie, cheat, steal ... someone should have asked him if he teaches his kids to lie, cheat, etc when they play sports game!

Anyway, my main comment was supposed to be directed at Global. This isn't the first time that they have screwed up with the programming feed interuptions. I hate it when I am watching CBS, and Global cuts in. I remember watching other programs and the endings get cut off because Global is hijacking the other stations. The Global bastards should be shot and pissed on for their unprofessional conduct. Heaven forbid, I may have to start watching CBC again to bouycot Global

I watched the US feed at 5, so got to see the whole thing.

I think we can all agree that without Yau, this season would have gone down as one of the most boring ever. He would have won most of the jury's vote had he been in the final 3. So IMHO, some of the blame has got to stay with Yau. Yau blames his pride, I blame the temporary disappearance of his wisdom. If I were him, I would have done 2 more things to ensure that I got the result that I wanted. I would have promised (and kept the promise) that I would not vote for Dreamz at the tribal council right after the immunity challenge at 4 players (assuming of course that Dreamz win immunity and keeps his word). At that point, I still have the option to influence the other two to vote him out (me not voting for him does not guarantee that he stays in the game) or to keep him in the final 3. I would have also made sure that Dreamz understood that if he did not keep up his end of the bargain, he would be effectively eliminating himself as he would likely get no votes from the jury. Clearly, Dreamz never grasp this concept which was what made watching his part of the reunion so painful.

dreamz had to do whats best for him/family and he knew that everybody else would have voted him off if he had given up the immunity. so the fact that he would have lost votes from the jury, he would have still gotten second place money. as for yau why is he shocked or anyone shocked that someone broke their word on survivor, it happens all the time. if you go on surivivor thinkin everybody going to play an honest game and keep there word your just to stupid to be on there.

I wonder if there will be a 2nd place since Dreamz and the totally and utterly useless Cassendra both got zero votes.

In my mind at least, there is a difference between giving your word and swearing to God on a deal as opposed to a simple lie. You seem to be the only one who get Dreamz and his twisted logic, so congratulations on that.

i understand that on survivor or big brother or any of these reality TV shows where people compete for money people will lie, manipulate, back stab, etc to get the money. i personally wouldn't have accepted the deal but i am not surprised that people out there would have accepted the deal and swear to god that will honor the deal and then go back on there word. thats life

Dreamz was such a dumbass.
Kudos to Earl for seeing the fumble and running in the ball for a touchdown.
And for breaking the whole "black man curse"
Yau was great, but you had to know Dreamz was going to renege on the deal.
Cassandra was a useless coat-tail rider.

Just my thoughts....

Up your V
This season of Survivor is weak,IMHO. I didn't see the beginning and with 2 immunity idols,it was gasping for ratings.
I did see the episode with Yau-Man winning the truck, but he gave it away for a shot at the final four.Yau-Man what was he thinking? There was still 6 people left playing.Anyone not rich or famous, yet would never give up a expensive prize posession!

Well I think there would be just 2 more seasons 4 Survivors series and Jeff Prost is going to retire.I think it lost it steam after the all-star series.
