Hi Mods,

Have you seen Mr.O's sig lately? He says he's a member of NAMBLA. Now I'm all for free speech, and I don't really care what people do in their free time, but advertising that you belong to an association of men who like to adulterate little boys is not something you would want to associate a hooker web site with.

I didn't bother PM'ing Mr.O to take it down as I would in normal circumstances out of courtesy because such things are far beyond the limits of a reasonable and sane individual.

I was under the impression that NAMBLA advocated changing laws, not committing crimes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they advise people not to break laws or actually engage in sex with underage people? They just say that society/the law should be different. And they have just as much right to say that as any group has the right to say anything, because they're not telling people to hurt people or break the law.

Unless of course, I've misunderstood their position.

A crime is something done in contravention to the law. So if you change the law to make something legal from what was previously illegal, it's no longer a crime, is it?

What NAMBLA wants is for children to be able to somehow independantly and completely without influence and their own free will to make the decision to have sex with adults and that this be legal for all involved. In other words, a narcissistic fantasy.
