Suppose you are a decision maker looking for a consulting firm to cubcontract. Or you are simply part of the team working with such a subcontractor. Or you are considering it. Or... whichever way it is, you happened to come across a website of a consulting company.

It has impeccable credentials. But when you browse their website to see the members of their team, you come across the profile of a younger associate.
And you know her. As an SP.

Her site or ads are no longer up, she never revealed her face in any of her pictures and was always very discreet - the only reason you know her is because you met her personally a year or a couple of years ago.

What would you do? Or think?

I agree

I absolutely concor with COCO. SP is a profession no different than any other profession. When I meet my advisor I smile and say hi. Just because you seen her as sp it does not mean she is less in her intellegent dept or her current non SP career.

right behind you!
Seems to me if you are an SP, that you of all people would be most sensitive towards her... she also knows you....

But to answer your question, do nothing and keep your thoughts to yourself, is what I would do in your shoes....

The purpose of my question was to gather the male perspective more than anything else. When I said "you", I meant it as a former real or prospective client rather than a fellow lady.

I would not have a problem with it-I do business with a retired SP and she's a smart businesswoman.

Any gal who can survive in the SP world of business has a pretty good head on her shoulders and a leg up on her competition in your world.

Same thing as if I found a picture of my doctor, lawyer, real estate agent or anything else. Judge them on the quality of their (contracting) work. People get so hung up on sex that they get mushmind and forget that sex, and a persons life around sex, has almost nothing to do with intelligence, work ethic or ability.

If I found her attractive, I'd hire them so I could date her.
