This gal asked me if i wanted to meet her parents then said she wants a baby.
Did she specifically say she wanted to have YOUR baby??? Most women want to have children at some point in their life. Hardly surprising the statement came out of her mouth. Although you could have been a man about it and told her what you told complete strangers like us ... that you don't want any children.
Either way you are not seeing her any longer ...

I really tried not to tease LAG about his movie, then my evil side stepped in.
I'm not crazy about kids in general. There are a few I care deeply about. I have no "biological imperative" to pass on my genes to a new human being. I never understood the perpetuation of identity (through their own kids) many people seem to have, and that only a few can consciously vocalize, rationalize, and explain.
That said, I would love to find the right kid(s) to adopt. I think more people should look at adoption as a way to give back to the world the life that was given to them.

Women like that I see as taking on a potential bad termination of a marriage in the future. The reason is because of her focus on the child, not on you as the partner and object of the relationship. She wants you principally to help her propagate and get what she wants. She is not looking at you as a person per se, but as a device for her own fulfillment. Later the reality of the chasm in the bond of the relationship will be unavoidable.
my bad ... I thought women are usually more circumspect about these kinds of things. The double wallop of meet-the-parents and want-a-baby in one sitting is enough to drive any of us away. I'll play along with wanting to have children just so i can bed them. Once I have them in the sack once who the hell cares. The ugly gals i tell them upfront how much i cant stand kids,marriage,etc.
