What I've noticed about all them classy hookers is that all there beds are so fucking soft. Like lying on a cloud.

I wanted the same thing and not this lumpy piece of shit I've been using so I went out and blew $1800 on a stupid mattress from some piece of shit sleaze bag salesman from Sleep Country. Jesus. What a job. Mattress salesman.

Anyways, this piece of shit is better then my old one, but it's still only half as soft as I've been in. What the secret? Using 10 fabric softners in with drying the sheets?

I think some of these things really need a womans touch.

The thread count in sheets makes a HUGE difference. For example many stores sell 180 to 400 threadcount (threads per inch, results in tighter weave and smoother feel) The Bay has ones that are 1000 thread count wish I only wish to sleep on

Flannel or tshirt material sheets are more cozy IMHO.

Feather bed top

They probably have a feather bed topper, basically a duvet for under you - super soft - you sink in, you can get them at most bedding shops - $200-$500 bucks

I agree, put one on top of my old mattress and was amazed at how much more comfortable my bed felt. Have been sleeping more soundly than I have in years.

Large lips is right. A high thread count makes your bedding come close to being satin without the satin drawbacks. Slip sliding. It just happens to be more expensive.

The Tempurpedic beds tend to stick you in one place on the bed. I like the Sleep Number beds because they come with a pillow top and have the air bladders instead of springs. You can adjust them precisely to how you want them without doing the compromise for any other person. (both sides adjust separately) All the women that I've shared a bed with sleep on boards their mattress is so firm.

I also agree. Plus they are inexpensive compared to a whole new mattress. A fraction of the cost. Like sirlickheralot said, his bed was amazingly soft after (and he put it on an old mattress). I had the same experience.

Later I bought a king size entirely memory foam mattress, and I can not say that there was much noticeable difference between a good memory foam topper on an old regular mattress and the new entirely memory foam mattress. The topper cost me $350. The king size entirely memory foam mattress cost me $3700. I felt like I had wasted my money.

Speaking of a good memory foam topper, they come in different thicknesses, spend the extra money and get the thicker one. The one I have is 3 inches thick but I saw cheaper ones that were only 1.5 inches thick. Once the 1.5 inch one compresses down from your weight you'll still be able to feel whatever is underneath it. The 3 inch one won't compress all the way down (unless you're super heavy?).

I just love being told I am right *jokes* Higher thread count, better quality. Egyptian cotton rocks, spare no expense when it comes to good sheets and a nice bed. I am one to speak though I sleep on a cheap $75 futon and just love it! Keep the big bed, nice sheets for "other activities" *hehe*
