I think I am missing somthing, but I gotta ask it. For all this tariff war shit, and the deadline coming up, Aug 19th I think she said. King Orange keeps throwing tariffs on all sorts of Canadian goods. The only retaliation I have noticed so far is the US Booze is gone from the liquor stores. Other than this from what I have just learned, Carney has stayed very cool, no knee jerk reactions, just continues to try and negotiate. However he has said come Aug 19th "Everything is on the table" ... Forget about fiddling around with the car parts industry between Windsor and Detroit, its so complicated and so interconnected that one car part might cross the border 6 times or more before the car gets to the dealer. Rather than restricting oil (60% of all US oil comes from Canada) or restricting potash (80% comes from Canada) aluminum (70%) uranium (36%) why not place a healthy export tax, applicable to the USA only. What would be the ramifications of this option.?

The idea is to sale the stuff at an affordable price to the consumer, and still make a decent profit. But hey lets supercharge the prices until the tariffs go away. Also some of that pricing might be under a contract. 100 gals at X dollars... etc.

I want to just turn the electiicity off for 1 day... but hey increasing the price of electricilty to the states to make up for the tariffs is a good idea... Or how about each province turn off the electricity for 4 hours on a rotating schedule at night.... We will make the US Blink in sequence..... Any body got a good tune they could sync to?? Close Encounter of a third Kind theme

I would like to see better management of forest products.
I would like to see one or two refineries built for gas, motor oil etc
I would like to see a plastics plant that produces all plastic products including acrylic sheets, polycarbonate sheets to reduce the import fee of these products that come from oil.
I would love to see the erasure of any patent over 20 years old, that is still keeping prices of raw material up in the fucken clouds (eg namely gortex). Also see laws that say that you have the right to work on the vehicles you buy; without patented shit that means you have to bring them back to the manufacturer/dealership costing you a fortune to repair or replace. (my version of interchangeable parts can be made by other companies at a cheaper price- which means the actual manufacturer is gouging you).
I would love to see more iron ore production and refinement. Steel refinement and titanium refinement and other metals.

What I don't want to see (and this important why there are environmental studies) is a new company dumping its chemicals into the rivers and lakes and ground of Canada (eg )
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-class-action-lawsuit-forever-chemicals-1.7243226
What I don't want to see is companies that dumped there toxic waste into river system (eg like mercury in the Lake of the Woods) and it affected the local Indian Band waters.

If any body that has traveled around the world, know how industrialized countries (c***s) have polluted the whole world... Look at NY state (wouldn't drink water from the river or stream or swim in their big rivers), the plastic ocean between California and Hawaii and other places in the world.
All you have to do is look at Victoria, you couldn't swim in the water due to the 1950s dumping of chemicals into the gorge where the shipyards used to be.

Any manufacturer from the 1940- 1980s that build heavy industry like ship, boats, farm equipment has a toxic dump site for the chemicals they used to use. By the 1990s all that is supposed to be in the past... But there are companies that still dump into the rivers and lakes of Canada.

maybe Carney should bring up about US Companies that dump into the Great Lakes....

Canadian Electricity to the US could be a difficult one. The supply goes back and forth on an at the moments demand. I think the overall US Electrical Canadian content is 2%.

Speaking of Canadian Content. The Entertainment industry in the US is FULL of Canadian Content, I was gonna mention real names BUT it might ruffle a few feathers.

Carney got elected basically because of who he wasn't. We're now seeing who he is. He hasn't negotiated anything great, just more promises and predictions, and now he has been caught out totally lying about the revenue from the Gordie Howe Bridge. He's not as bright as people gave him credit for, and is looking just like Trudeau Lite.

AI:
The Housing Accelerator Fund a $4.4 billion federal initiative administered by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to help local and Indigenous governments cut red tape, speed up housing approvals, and build more homes faster across Canada.
Program Details and Funding
• Total Budget: $4.4 billion total ($4 billion initially from Budget 2022 plus a $400 million top-up in Budget 2024) running through 2027–2028.
• Core Goal: Fast-track housing permits to incentivize the creation of over 100,000 new housing units nationwide in its initial phase, contributing to a longer-term target of 750,000 permitted homes.
• Funding Streams: Separated into a Large/Urban stream (for populations of 10,000 or more) and a Small/Rural/North/Indigenous stream.
Key Objectives and Reforms
• Zoning Changes: Encourages high-density housing, transit-oriented developments, and "missing middle" options like duplexes and triplexes.
• Process Modernization: Funds digital e-permitting tools and streamlined municipal bureaucracy to reduce building delays.
• Performance Bonuses: Rewards top-performing municipalities that exceed housing targets with additional top-up financial allocations

AI:
Ottawa demanded that City of Red Deer, Alberta implement city-wide "four-as-of-right" blanket zoning to allow up to four residential units on any single residential lot as a strict condition for a $12 million federal Housing Accelerator Fund grant.

The Zoning Dispute
• The Demand: Approval of blanket rezoning permitting four units per residential property without requiring individual rezoning applications or localized public hearings.
• The Response: Red Deer City Council unanimously voted against the condition after public consultations showed local resistance and concerns from residents.
• The Result: The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation cancelled the $12 million funding agreement due to non-compliance.

AI:
The federal Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) differed between Red Deer and Toronto in its final penalty severity: Red Deer's entire agreement was cancelled, while Toronto's funding was only partially reduced.

Red Deer AB:
Total cancellation of its $12 million agreement (effective January 16, 2026) after council rejected mandatory four-units-as-of-right blanket zoning, having only received its initial $3 million installment.

Toronto Ontario:
A partial reduction of $10 million from its overall allocation because specific commitments under its 2023 agreement were not fully met, rather than an outright contract termination.

Traditional vs. Modern Patterns
• Traditional Sprawl: Small flat cities usually grow horizontally with single-family detached homes and wide parking lots because land constraints do not force upward or compact building.
• Economic Realities: Sprawling low-density layouts often create long-term financial deficits for small municipalities, making infrastructure maintenance cost-prohibitive relative to tax revenue.
• The "Missing Middle" Shift: Planners increasingly advocate for gentle, compact infill—such as missing middle housing (townhomes, duplexes, and low-rise apartments)—in mid-sized and small cities to curb high infrastructure costs and preserve surrounding agricultural land.

Province will not follow Federal Government orders to redirect housing funds from Red Deer to Edmonton

City of Red Deer AB rejects townhouse densification without city approval and few million federal cash. Small city Albertans live in fortified homes suited for weather in beautifully landscaped homes with generous split-level basements easily heated and cool in summer. If I lived in such wealthy state I wouldn't want to watch a bunch of alternately distressed overheated and freezing condo dwellers in my neighbourhood either.

Way too much red tape for building a house.... Why, cheap contractors who cut corners for profit. Contractors who don't care about their reputations... Gov agencies that charge to ensure buildings meet code. Too many rules because people were being cheap and cutting corners.... they patch it up and make it look good and sale and pass the problems into the next owners hands...

The thing about houses, we make houses with wood that if not treated or built in a certain way, allows water to penetrate and rot and create mold...

Build the houses out of cement....

Andrew Korybko faces significant criticism from Western media monitors, researchers, and government-affiliated organizations who characterize his work as sophisticated Russian propaganda. Critics argue that while he maintains the veneer of an independent analyst, his output systematically amplifies Kremlin narratives to English-speaking audiences.

The EUvsDisinfo project and outlets like Insight News have documented that Korybko's analysis consistently aligns with official Russian foreign policy positions. Key accusations include:

  • Amplifying Kremlin Talking Points: Critics note his frequent use of Russian propaganda terminology, such as referring to the Ukrainian government as a "Nazi regime" and using terms like "Novorossiya." He routinely frames Russian military escalations, such as the Oreshnik missile strikes, as justified defensive responses to Western or Ukrainian "provocations."
  • Promoting Conspiracy Theories: His work often advances narratives that align with Russian strategic interests, such as claims that the CIA is manipulating US leadership against Russia or that Western sanctions are the primary cause of European economic instability.
  • Institutional Ties: Investigations highlight his past employment with Sputnik News and Voice of Russia, both Russian state-controlled media outlets. He also maintains affiliations with Russian state-linked institutions, including the Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts at the People's Friendship University of Russia.

So they are slowing down immigration...
WOW what a bunch of morons in the civil service who supply these fucked up politicians with facts to provide them with policies.

For a country that does not have the economy to supports them. For a country that is already short of housing. For a country that has too many fees and regulations to jump through to construct a house. All you have to do is look a the "leaky condo" problem from the 90s, People got fucked over on their condos (they should of walked away from the condos and let the banks get fucked over) for over 20-25 years before they broke even... The banks were a big part of the escalating house prices since the 1990s.

Look at Europe who has take in Muslim immigrants into their societies, to see how much crime they have caused in those countries. There is big anti Muslim resentment of gang rapes of young women in Britain, France, Germany and the rest of Europe and the governments are doing nothing about it, causing the rise of FAR Right political parties calling for the deportation of Muslims....
Also in the states in Texas there is a big anti-Muslim attitude toward Sharia-Law communities...

Premiers tell Ottawa they 'urgently' want negotiations to begin on future of the RCMP

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-reform-premiers-police-9.7289407

For me, scrub and replace the offshore oath put on all officers and would-be officers of Canada. Police, military and civil service. Everybody from the prime minister all the way down to sixteen year old reserve army recruits joining with parental concent. An oath to Canadians.

Ottawa says construction on Mackenzie Valley Highway can’t start until wildfires are under control

The Mackenzie Valley Highway is a proposed all-season gravel road that would stretch from Wrigley to Inuvik, connecting the territory's remote communities.

The N.W.T.'s severe wildfire season — forcing evacuations at the highway's starting point in Fort Simpson — appears to have caused delay, again.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nort...t-until-wildfires-are-under-control-9.7287609

Considered for decades but some sections don't even have a route picked out yet.

Protecting Canadians is the government’s first duty, and speedy immigration processing should never come at its expense

A daughter points out the horrific murders would never have occurred if Canada had simply carried out routine deportations of fake foreign students.

An April 2026 special bulletin from FINTRAC, Canada’s national financial intelligence agency, highlights how extortion networks are recruiting “typically financially vulnerable, young male Indian nationals in Canada on study permits” as “foot soldiers” to intimidate extortion victims and as “money mules” to transport proceeds of crime.

Auditor General Karen Hogan’s study found that between 2023 and 2024 Canada’s Immigration Department identified 153,000 foreign students as potentially non-compliant with study permit conditions, but due to funding constraints investigated just 2,000 cases each year. Of the cases it investigated, 40 per cent ground to a halt because students did not reply to the department.

https://www.todayville.com/ottawa-prioritized-immigration-processing-over-public-safety/

AI:
The Strengthening Canada's Immigration System and Borders Act (Bill C-12), which came into force on March 26, 2026, amended the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act. This legislation updated enforcement tools and administrative monetary penalties for FINTRAC (the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada).

AI:
Strengthening Canada's Immigration System and Borders Act, received Royal Assent and became law on March 26, 2026. Blocks individuals from standard refugee hearings if they have been in Canada for more than one year before claiming asylum or if they wait 14 or more days after an irregular border crossing. Permits to securely share specific client data with federal, provincial, and territorial partners. Cases are diverted to a paper-based pre-removal risk assessment instead of an oral hearing. Critics warn risk assessments will increase pressure on the Federal Court through a higher volume of judicial reviews.

With 158,000 non-compliant plus anything new since the 2024 audit, Immigration Canada looks barely started.

The mainstream media gave PM Carney political cover by not extensively covering the story. If Carney was a conservative the media would have had the story covered 24 hrs. a day for weeks on end.

As Canada’s forestry workforce shrinks, so does the on-the-ground capacity to keep fuel loads down and catch trouble early

https://www.todayville.com/a-healthy-revitalized-forestry-sector-can-help-fight-wildfires/

Could just select salient points in the article but the headline says all. The exploding population numbers gave Canada concrete apartment towers instead of wood frame. Canadian trade missions abroad must put top priority to allies to support trade in wood products from Canada. A refusal to do so labels fake all climate carbon enthusiasts.

Former Vancouver Mayor Says a BC Cabinet Minister Is Under Active Investigation Over China Links

Federal lawyers confirmed the allegation, that questions in the legislature went nowhere, and that the intelligence service and the federal police understand the threat.

No charges have been laid, no minister has been identified, and no allegation against any member of the British Columbia cabinet has been tested or proven.

The Chinese consulate in Vancouver issued material during the campaign intended to signal to pro-Beijing residents that he was the candidate not to support “So they were actively interfering all the way through the election.”

A radio station had been established in Washington State, outside the jurisdiction of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, and used against him.

Municipal contests have almost no oversight, low turnout and thin media coverage, which makes them “the perfect place to crank up a funded social media campaign.” If the money comes from outside Canada, “there’s no way of stopping it really.”

“I think this is quite widespread. I have some friends, some academic friends who study this stuff, and this is so widespread in countries all around the world.

"At every load bearing point where the law imagines independence, the same institution appears initiator, facilitator, scribe, and witness while the one genuinely independent party, a Power of Attorney of twelve years, was kept, in the family’s phrase, in the dark despite their constant physical presence at the home.”

Staff at the facility quietly worked toward planning Stegemann’s demise without her family’s knowledge.

“What happened to Stegemann was a systemic failure driven by clinical arrogance, a total lack of transparency, and a blatant disregard for the safeguards meant to protect vulnerable patients,” declared her family.

Once a vulnerable patient explicitly declines this path, the facility should never have targeted her for re-evaluation behind closed doors while her primary advocate was away,” they said. “We are deeply alarmed by the absolute lack of transparency and independent oversight.”

A general Power of Attorney only usable while the individual functioning. PoA can sell your house for you if you're still well. If your mental capacity deteriorates you need Enduring Power of Attorney to keep administering your financial affairs. Once your mental capacity deteriorates you need a Representation Agreement for health care procedures and certainly for medical assistance in dying.

Yet people are allowed to ask, where is the other candidates source of money coming from... If radio and tv and internet adds are done against a candidate, they should be able to ask who is funding the campaign against them...
