You can apply these things to the left and the right. People are humans beings. They fuck things up everyday. To err is human to forgive divine or some such saying....
I have to think about how a maga person got to the place they are in. Limited education (as opposed to simply being stupid) would be one factor. The Changing world is another factor. This would include loss of jobs in the US, loss of education, mass marketing of products (its in the background of everything, products pushed by every know way to advertise (TV, radio, email, text, videos etc)). The idea of as new things come into being its pushing their old world out (change).
Most people are so engrossed in maintaining their lives in this complicated world. So when the world pushes, people eventually will push back. But the system is not allowing them to push back.... So they turn to leaders who they think can do things for them.... Not knowing those leaders lie to them.......

A few months ago I said on this forum I’d bet good money that free and fair mid term elections won’t happen. The odds get worse and worse.
I have very little faith that the truth will ever be discovered. The top echelon of the US justice system, the FBI, DOJ, US District, US Federal, and SCOTUS, are all corrupt appointees of Trump.

Actually it does appear it was a loving accepting household. Where do you get that it was not? He even came to his father for advice after the shooting. Both the mother and the Utah governor have said he became entangled in left wing politics and I am certain that if it had been a left wing podcaster killed by a MAGA supporter you would be singing a completely different tune blaming everything on Frump and right wing "fascists", not singing the lone wolf theory.
All most conservatives want in regards to trans is for them to stay out of women's sports and locker rooms and away from influencing children, and to raise the age for permission to transition to closer to adulthood by which time their actual sexual destination is much more determinable. No sane parent wants their teenage or younger daughter to be sharing a locker room with someone who still has a penis.
Yes that’s almost as bad as trump wandering around back stage looking at the teenage girls getting dressed in one of his beauty pageants.
At a pool, I used to live at, they had male, female, and coed changing rooms. The coed changing room had full doors on cubicles.
I’m really not educated enough on the science behind trans. I do know that there are trans children tho. But is it society pressure? I don’t know. I do agree to not doing anything permanent to any child. The same way I wouldn’t allow a 16 year old girl have breast augmentation. I think puberty blockers are ok tho and raising all children to just allow them to be themselves without imposing gender roles on them. If we did away with gender roles, maybe we wouldn’t have trans people. Who knows. Again I’m not educated enough on it. I do know I have trans friends who are amazing wonderful people.
Maybe that’s all most conservatives want but the rhetoric coming out of the white house actively causes them harm.
I’m just assuming that people who grow up in loving homes don’t grow up to murder people. Being raised by hippies, I don’t have a whole lot of self discipline. I’m kind of a hedonist but i would never take a life. All life is sacred even if you don’t agree with me. I knew that when I was a kid. I’ve also always felt comfortable in my skin and I just try to treat everybody with respect.

That’s down from 212,000 in January and less than half of his June peak of 284,000.\
That’s a nosedive.
Advertisers bailed.
Audiences tuned out.
And ABC saw him for what he was: unprofitable.
Then they saw the ridiculous, ham-handed threats from the FCC, and decided to get rid of Kimmel, let the media claim Trump did it, and not only save money, but score more woke brownie points for Disney.

I’m going to assume you aren’t a Kimmel viewer. He always goes on vacation for the months of July and August and has occasional guest hosts during those two months. New episodes are sporadic.
Regardless, his show's ratings (as are all late night talk shows) are abysmal. He averaged 1.7 million, and 220,000 adults 18-49 during the second quarter (three months ended June 30), according to data from Nielsen.
Perhaps we will find more about it when this comes to trial. True we do not know really anything about it at this point and its all speculation.
