What Really Happened In Alaska

Russia has essentially been de facto recognized by the US as a peer power. That implies, at the very least, the return of high-level diplomacy where it is most needed.

“It was firmly put [by Putin] to stop all direct US weapon deliveries to Ukraine as a vital step towards the solution. Americans accepted the fact that it is necessary to dramatically decrease lethal shipments.”

Across Global Majority latitudes, Alaska displayed the fraying of Atlanticism in no uncertain terms – revealing that the US seeks a meek Europe subjugated to the strategy of tension, otherwise there’s no EU military surge, buying billions worth of over-priced American weapons with money it doesn't have.

Some say still about getting Russian natural resource wealth out as done under Boris Yeltsin in the '90s.

Unprecedented, Never Cost More To Buy An Existing Home Over A New Home

...bank's economists said 87% of mortgage holders have rates below current rates, and two-thirds have borrowing costs 2 percentage points below current rates, “strongly disincentivizing them from moving.”

The president wants interest rate lowered to let in first time buyers. The reserve bank chairman wants interest rate up to combat inflation.

Even temporary tariffs in past disputes have disrupted delivery schedules and increased costs. Analysis from Harvard Business School points to rising protectionism as a major threat to supply chain stability. As governments reevaluate trade policies, the world’s major aircraft companies may be forced to rethink their international sourcing models—a costly and complex endeavor.

The US House added a provision banning the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC) into an almost 1,300-page bill setting the country’s defense policy for the 2026 fiscal year.

...typical of lawmakers to add non-defense-related provisions that could otherwise be stalled or heavily revised if passed as standalone bills.

Goes to the Senate now and later yet the president signs on. Stablecoins a different policy. Fixed to a commodity such as oil or even fiat. Banks don't want interest bearing Stablecoins.

The United States will add steel, copper, lithium, and two other products to its import restriction list under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on Aug. 19.

DHS stated that as of Aug. 1, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had blocked more than 16,700 imported shipments valued at nearly $3.7 billion to examine whether they are prohibited under the UFLPA, and more than 10,000 of the shipments were denied entry.

...cracking down on imports made with forced labor helps protect compliant U.S. and international manufacturers from unfair competition...

Inside the Falkland Superlab: How RCMP Refusals to Cooperate With the DEA Fueled a Cross-Border Tariff Crisis

1000000346.png
WASHINGTON
— Canada’s federal police refused to investigate or cooperate with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration on a British Columbia fentanyl superlab probe tied to chemical-precursor shipments from China into Vancouver in late 2022, according to senior U.S. officials. More than a year later — only after the U.S. Treasury sanctioned Iranian-Canadian businessman Bahman Djebelibak and his Health Canada–licensed company Valerian Labs, naming them as part of a Chinese fentanyl trafficking syndicate that Washington sought to disrupt — did the RCMP finally open a siloed investigation. The force continued to refuse coordination or information sharing with the American agents who had initiated the case. In an exclusive interview, Derek Maltz, DEA Acting Administrator in 2025 with oversight of the matter, called the B.C. superlab case a “major disaster.”

Other U.S. and Canadian police experts also warned they believe the RCMP and relevant Canadian agencies such as Canada Border Services suffer from significant corruption concerns.

...said of the Falkland lab case. “When I was Acting Administrator, I met with the current leadership and it was actually sad because these guys came to see me and they want to do the right thing. They say all the right things, but they’re so far behind and the laws are so antiquated and so archaic.”

Falkland BC between Kamloops and Vernon. Haven't read entire article but should get around to sometime. Canadian police wouldn't get involved until sanctions imposed on Djebelibak in 2023. Myself and I think Canadians want the fentanyl mess cleaned up, Right Honourable Carney.

What To Know About California's Redistricting Ballot Measure

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/wh...579?utm_source=partner&utm_campaign=ZeroHedge

California and Texas each competitively moving electoral boundaries to maximise federal Congress seats for respective parties. Just an example of how centralized government commands too much authority to the point of driving States to maximise federal representation and create a clown show in plain sight about cheating constituents of voting rights.

California, for instance keeps property taxes constant until property sold. A voter-owner would have to move and most likely experience an exorbitant tax increase depending on the length of living in the previous property. If the owner wanted support of a particular party possibly earned through party donation some Republicans in California and some Democrats in Texas would be minus their favoured and possibly established
representative.

Justice Department inspector general report concludes FBI official Charles McGonigal leaked details of a CEFC investigation, tipping off operatives linked to Israeli-American Gal Luft and Xi Jinping

That lineage—Lai’s smuggling empire, Ho’s UN-linked bribery schemes, Luft’s arms brokering, and Ye’s Belt and Road diplomacy—strongly suggests CEFC (Chinese state-linked oil conglomerate) as a hybrid intelligence and smuggling platform serving Beijing’s global ambitions, with leadership directly tied to President Xi, according to the Luft indictment filings and The Bureau’s assessments.

If people aren't aware that this is a demonstration of authoritarianism then they aren't paying attention.
I guess when Governor Pritzker sent the National Guard to Chicago for the Democratic National Convention for the coronation of Kamala Harris that was also a demonstration of authoritarianism. The governor of New York has the National Guard patrolling the New York subway for the past 6-8 months and that must be a demonstration of authoritarianism. Nonsense. People have a right to feel and be safe.

Ever heard of imposed vs requested by the city officials ?

Explain to us since the reasoning is for law and order why cities with twice as bad murder rates as Chicago or Washington are not being imposed the National Guard treatment.

How's the tourist and hospitality industry doing in Washington these days? Retail businesses around DC ? Or both across the US ?

Quite enjoyed the US Tennis crowd booing the convicted rapist pedophile every time its fat fuck of a countenance was shown on the big screen. I guess the handlers have their heads so far up theirs and his ass than they can not begin to understand what a fucking embarrassment this cunt is - for everything surrounding it and everything it is doing.
