Has anyone experienced having their number reported as scam?
It happened to me even though I didn't miss any appointments, it was probably a mistake. I only found out when I tried to make a reservation with Coco Collective, and they informed me they couldn’t provide services because my number had been reported. I tried explaining that my number is legit, and I even provided a reference from another SP as they requested, but they just ignored me! - - They denied the service - -

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have any idea how I can clarify that my number is not spam? I don't want to change my number because of that

Not sure if this is the case with their system, but it sounds like it might be. In which case you likely misunderstood what they were trying to tell you.

If you ever send a solo message of cancel, stop, unsubscribe, or any similar trigger words, it is literally impossible for us to message you or reply to your messages.

To fix this, text the message, start, or subscribe etc.

The reason is if you are using a messaging platform, they do not differentiate between natural customer initiated conversation, and marketing messages... The back end carrier with recognise these triggers and block attempts to msg the number.

I could be wrong, as obviously we are not them.. but it is an issue with us. We really prefer telegram over text...SMS is a pita realistically... Carriers like Telus,bell etc, can block you if you send too many messages per minute, or if they detect adult content, and yes that means the carrier inspects the content of SMS messages (doesn't apply to RCS).

Actually, I sent a text message.

The admin told me that they checked my number on some kind of website where providers can report scams. Apparently, my number was in this database, and they were supposed to deny their services to me.

I don't know how to unblock my number to prevent this from happening again

Maybe send them a DM here explaining what happened?
That's what I did. The administrator asked me for references from other providers, and when I provided them, they simply ignored me.
The problem isn't Coco; what I want is to avoid being blocked with other agencies. I haven't had any problems with independent providers.
