Well yeah there are those who sell things outrageously high. They'll be selling it for $200 cause they bought it brand new for $500 years prior, but they'll ignore that it's now brand new $250 on Amazon. I generally check what something costs brand new and what others within my area sell something for and the condition before putting the price.
Yep I do the same, there was this bunk bed for $650 that a lady is selling, she bought when her kids were toddlers and selling because they are teenagers now 😂

It's honestly wild how stupid they are to think others are that stupid. People are giving away these bunk beds and cribs free after they've been moderately used.

That’s what I do. I donate everything that I upgrade or no longer want. Clothing goes to the women’s drop in center downtown and furniture goes to friends or the spca thrift store on Victoria drive.

Selling on market place or Craigslist seems like the exact opposite of how I want to spend my time hahaha

Totally fair. I typically sell if it's considered something that isn't "essential". Like I've given away bed mattresses and frames. Though I personally sold an antique phone from the 1930s, cause that's a collector item. I sold a leaf blower that I bought anticipating I would buy a house, and ended up in a townhouse instead. It was unused and in the box. So stuff like that. I don't care to sell things that are used otherwise.

I'm half Iranian and we are seen no differently and the asshole behaviour is no different either. This man-Karen entitlement behaviour. It's so normalized sadly that people don't tell their friends or relatives to tone it down. I hate to say it, but it has made me biased. I refuse to most queries on market place from Middle Eastern and South Asians because it always starts with an immediate lowball offer.
I have a friend from Iran, he told me one time he was selling an older 3 series BMW for $5,000 and had expected to sell for less but used the price as a starting point. He said a young guy showed up and promptly agreed to the $5,000. My friend had expected to do some negotiating on the price which he said was common back in Iran and was kind of taken aback. He said he pointed out some small problem with the car and suggested he should take $200 off the price due to the small problem. Said he ended up haggling on behalf of the buyer as that was the way he was used to buying and selling.

Know any sp's with the same ethnicity? Same reverse haggling ethic? Contact info?

I am by no means a frequent client. I maybe have 3 maximum sessions a year with a SP if that.

Some of the terrible stories I have heard and read about from women having problems with male clients regardless of background is terrible. If you engage in this sort of lifestyle then the person you’re paying to visit you should be kind and respectful. If they post an advertisement with requirements and prices, respect that. You’re not going to a car dealership trying to buy a used car and barter on a price. You’re dealing with a real human being. In my opinion the individual you’re paying to visit isn’t subhuman meaning you can treat them like garbage or worthless.

this is my longest post I think on here, I have been a long time lurker, sorta like a long time listener to a radio show, first time caller lol who finally hears something they need to give an opinion and call in. This topic made me call in.
