If the next Liberal leader is Carney, it's going to be a much closer and more interesting election.

The choice will be someone from the private sector who has never run for public office, or someone who has never held a real job and has always been a politician.

Not that different than the basic premise of the convicted felon rapist down south. Except Carney isn't a sociopath fascist. At least I don't think he is.

Carney seem well (he seem startled by being cut off). Lets see who the other leaders will be. Freedland? She is a better back up player than the front runner. There is a different way people around you act when your the leader (and want to stick knives in your back).

These ads have begun appearing on TV, paid for by a third party group called Protecting Canada.

no it's not

they did a poll, 76% of the people don't have a fucking clue who he is

he's boring, almost as bad that other Liberal, take your pick, Mike from Harvard, where this guy went, or china is our friend Dion

he's the definition of an elite, first off where is he going to run? Edmonton? suicide

unless the most irrelevant POS Jimmy Singh keeps the Liberals in till Oct

none of them have a chance of changing the channel

You are going to need someone with economic experience to deal with the bullshit budgets that the Liberals had for the last 8 years.

Just say it. CANADA is Fucken BROKE (and the hole is getting bigger).

You are also going to have to break a few heads on the wall of parliament. Knocking some common sense into people who are senseless C nts.... Something that should of been done to Trudeau years ago..... or maybe he got fucked in the ass when he was a teenager.... who the fuck knows!!

JR took a play from SR playbook, throw the up and comer to the wolves....

If Canada is broke, I'm not sure what the other G7 nations are.

now add in the highest person to GDP debt in the G7

cherry picking stats doesn't tell the whole story

it's just slightly over 100%

and just from a quick glance that graph doesn't look like it includes Provincial or Muni debt

what's the score when those are added, with all the downloading that's happened over the last 30 years from Feds to Prov to Muni

we have nothing to brag about on this issue

and what's our savings rate/savings totals compared to the others?

and why does poll after poll say most are $200/month away from being broke/unable to pay basic bills?

Keep moving goal posts and cherry picking stats you don't understand and maybe eventually you'll make a point.

You may not be doing well in you personal life, but Canada is far, far, far from broke.

I know "broke" is one of Poilievre's slogans, but Poilievre is full of shit.

Keep thinking about all the products British Columbia imports. All the apartment construction in Greater Vancouver filled with imported appliances. Refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, plumbing, furnaces, glass and glass frames, electrical fixtures. Imported equipment to build apartment towers. Cranes, dumps trucks, iron reinforcement bars, tools, clothing for employees. Once apartment built occupants bring in imported small appliances, furniture, clothing. Canadians fabricating products in Canada what Canadians need to off-set effect of tariffs.

Its all built in Asia and Mexico. At best final assembly in the US. It wont be as hard for us to re-source as it would for the States.

look we get it

you got Pierre derange syndrome

have no real friends, that aren't Liberal gov't workers

cause if you did, they'd tell you how they're struggling to get by, for the last 5 yrs for sure

2 million going to the food banks

that stat alone, no one is cherry picking that

the 100% plus debt level, not cherry picked, stats Canada

debt doubled in 9 short years, again, not cherry picked

people not investing in Canada since the Turd, even Canadians are investing outside of the country more than in

again, stats Canada, not cherry picked

fact after fact

yeah

Canada's rolling in it

the shit of 9 yrs of a fucking child leader

Great times

if you're a Tru-Anon cult member like you or their farm team NDPer

the dipshits with the hat Ford was sporting

couldn't even make it or buy one made here

they had to get it from Asia, then embroidered it here

Bill Gates, a few years ago, said, your country isn't going to be well off economically if you don't have a manufacturing sector

but according to others here we're doing fine

with a consumer economy, just keep bringing in 1 million a year

that's all you need to delude yourself Canada's wealthy

I keep coming across people who would be more than happy to sell out Canada to be the 51st state and they call themselves Canadian, I call them out as traitors these fucks really piss me off, they should just move to the states if thats how they feel. Canada must have everyone onboard to stand up to the Orange Turd or he won’t back down, I can’t stand the thought of becoming American 🤬

Honourable Victor Fedeli

Ontario Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade:

You know about pending tariff threats. British Columbia apartment tower construction importing an enormous amount of material. Cranes, dump trucks, cement trucks, rebar, glass and glass frames, plumbing, electrical fixtures, furnaces, air conditioners. Later come imported washing machines, dryers, dishwashers. Occupants move in with imported small appliances, furniture and clothing. British Columbia doesn’t seem capable of producing such imported products. Canada needs something more than tit-for-tat tariffs. Products must be fabricated in Canada to off-set effects of tariffs. Asking Ontario and Quebec to fill the gap and produce the products that can’t be produced elsewhere in Canada.

Xxx Xxxxx

Quite right! One crucial defining characteristic of Canadians is that we are NOT Americans, or any other nation or faction for that matter. Although we value diversity, that diversity melds better than most other nations into the great peace-loving society that is Canada. 🇨🇦

Frankly, the Americans could do with a little more Canadian humility on the world scene, especially as the Yanks pull back from their self-proclaimed global police force role, that we and many other nations have lulled ourselves into accepting. If we can figure out how to monetize Niceness, it would be a terrific export.

…”We don’t need your war machines,

We don’t need your ghetto scenes…”

Go Canada 🇨🇦

Wanna join the USA, go south and fuck yourself.
