I know some shareholders that will be marching him towards the door without one hell of a mea culpa .

Can you imagine on the long run the damage to his companies he might be causing ?

We will see how much the US climate change deniers red voters will be ready to encourage his brands especially Tesla once the environmental left stops buying his cars
Regrettably, investment platforms don't deny racists, fascists etc. access to the the stock market. I don't think there will be a major downward move in Tesla.
Personally I feel that Spacex makes him a tidy sum. He's basically the U.S.'s space program. Those military satellites aren't getting up there by slingshots.
Also Starlink makes money as well and I don't see people in remote areas who are using it stopping anytime soon.

Elon Musk has always been a headline magnet, but his 2024 financial performance was in a league of its own. His net worth soared by an astonishing $203 billion over the year, making him the first person in history to surpass a $400 billion net worth, according to CNN.
For a leap year like 2024, that breaks down to approximately $554.64 million a day, $23.11 million an hour or a jaw-dropping $6,420 per second. While these numbers make for great trivia, they're not reflective of an hourly wage – it's more about the rapid growth of his assets, primarily tied to Tesla and SpaceX stock.

It's at the point where rich and powerful who are getting involved in politics can do virtually anything with zero consequences. Didn't stop trump from getting re-elected did it?

Whatever is going on this was absolutely planned out. It’s possible this was planned to show those who think “wokeness” is bad and being hateful, bigoted and racist and now think it’s okay “in the name of free speech” that is the richest man in the world can openly give a Nazi salute at Trumps inauguration, then it’s okay for them to be more openly racist too?

I mean since Trump ran for president for 2020 and won, we have seen a rise in hate speech. I have seen way more people being openly hateful people in the USA as well as Canada. I feel like this has all been done on purpose to divide people more, tbh. “Divide and conquer” is a saying that has a lot of truth to it, as it’s much easier to control and take over people who are divided. This is something history has shown us time and time again.

Just my thoughts on what has been happening. Musk also knew he would have many people defend him and in a world where money talks a whole lot he can buy many people’s and organizations support on almost anything he does.

You are 100% correct.
This is well documented in 'The Art of War' by Sun Tzu

You are right on that. These tactics go back many centuries. There is also the book “How to Become a Dictator” by Frank Dikotter. I think the Netflix series is based off this book too, “How to Become a Tyrant”.

I am a big history nerd so I find these interesting, but really never thought I would be living in a time to see these things actually happening. It looks like many of the elite rich and powerful are planning something right now, and have been planning something for a long time too, in North America.

Interesting to note that there are a lot of subs on Reddit looking to ban X now.
X is the life blood of the information/misinformation that is fed from the righteous right.

You need to ask?
We have our own mini Trump here in PeePee, sorry Poilievre. Never had a job, took 10 years to complete a four year degree, worst federal housing minister in 40 years, never got a bill passed in parliament, and together with Daniel Smith, will give Trump whatever he wants.
There motto is Fuck Canada.
Doug Ford , who I had little respect for before, is now showing what a true Canadian should do

for fuck sakes

Trudeau is like Trump, Poilievre is pretty much nothing like Trump, except that the demented Left wing zealots hate them,

you clearly haven't heard what Pierre said about how to deal with Trump

he's said pretty much the same type of things as Ford

Smith, yes, she's a moron, at least really starting to show that now on how to deal with Trump

So I just came across a super interesting post on twitter that is a thread that some people may be interested in reading by an Anthropologist who specializes in authoritarianism and revolution practice in response to it. It’s really interesting. I was a psychology major and sociology minor in college and anthropology I have found to be really fascinating as well.

This is the link to the thread on twitter-x: https://x.com/thoughtrise/status/1881591360509415510?s=46

Definitely a Nutzy.
^^^ I’m with this conspiracy theory. Elon is awkward as fuck, unfiltered, brialliant on some vectors and imbicile on others. We want to believe he’s a coming out Nazi, but I think Nutzy is more accurate.

Anyone who can make EV’s go mainstream, send Americans to Mars, bring internet to the whole planet, and pull the filters off social media has got to be a bat shit crazy risk taker. The german influence is indeed concerning, however as a nazi salute goes, he got it all wrong. You don’t thump your heart first, thank people while you are extending your arm, and you don’t shoot the arm out sideways—it’s straight out in front you, silly. Yup, he’s NUTZY. But his well established patterns of free enterprize entrepreneurship, fighting government controls, and challenging the status quo, does not seem to fit with deeply held fascism. His “Trump Job” will be to gut the fat pig U.S. government, and go nutbar on cutting red tape to up free enterprise again. Maybe then he’ll move over to the portfolio of re-establish dictatorial controls and symbolic rituals, but I don’t think so.

This is a splash and dash administration. They are moving quick. They have to…

Look, we are stuck with Trump for four more years. Then he’s two-and-done as El Prez. Musk can never be Prez. So these guys are going to shake the tree as hard and as fast as they can. I don’t think their priority is to introduce a nazi regime, juicy as that conspiracy theory is. Their priority actually appears to be acting on their MAGA election promises. Like them or not, it’s what they go voted in to do. Expect economic and border security wars, de-liberalization of the government, and less (or no) support for military engagements.

Then, in four years, we get a whole fresh start.

VANCE!!!!! Let the shit fly…

To me it looked like he grabbed his heart first, and then threw his love / heart out to the audience. I am not a fan of his. But I think people are being hateful and extreme on this one. He actually says " My heart goes out to you" , then grabs his chest / heart, and throws it forward. Does he not have autism? Individuals with autism are known to be a lot more literal.

Maybe this is exactly what he wanted to do, what we are seeing online and in these comments: getting people to pick a side, divide people, get them talking and have them doubt what they see and hear, where it’s hard to even know what the truth is?

If this was the case, then he could clearly and unequivocally say so to clear things up, right? But he hasn't...

Or sometimes people are just living life , there isn't always a back story to pick apart. Not everything is always a calculation, in fact I'd call this a miscalculated move on his part
