Now that LL getting full of so many new verified profiles who have no reviews - share your common/craziest scam that you experienced recently/a while ago while seeing a SP?

Location can be mentioned, but let’s hide the name of the SP - dont wanna hurt someone’s reputation.

Seeing stories of some guys getting robbed, might be helpful for others may be?

Went to Kamloops for the night, messaged an sp after a few drinks, heard nothing from them, woke up to a message with a picture of my then wifes facebook on messenger with a message showing screen shots, they said 500$ and they wont send them. I called their bluff, they sent it and it was a lot of explaining i will admit.

moral of the story, do not link your phone number to facebook, as its an easy search to find you.

I know, but I have also heard stories where guys post negative stuffs about girls they are protective about and dont want any one else to touch. The point of the thread was not to blame who is scammer or not, just to not fall in those kind of traps

Well, you know what I’ve been a degenerate for a lot of years. And in my experience, I’ve been ripped off every single time with deposits or cards. 20% of the time is a catfish. So I refuse as soon as they tell me deposit I say no thank you. But I catfish the other day and I took off and once again I get these threatening text messages. I mean all in all I can’t believe there has been anyone scammed more than me in America. So everyeverybody’s got their share.

Booked a duo. When I arrived they told me for an extra fee I’d get all sorts of upgrades. No problem if you don’t have the money, they said, there’s an ATM across the street. In fact, we want something to drink so we’ll walk across there with you. The arm was in a convenience store.

so across we go. We get back and it’s the most disappointing half assed duo ever.

next morning I go to buy groceries and my bank card is gone. So is $2800 from my account.

one of them went with me to the atm and
she was kissing me and getting all flirty. She was also looking at my PIN number. During the duo she “went to pee” but went in and took my bank card.

the store they bought $2800 of cigarettes from had a good security system and a camera. The cops who I reported my stolen card to arrested one two nights later. A guilty plea to theft followed.

This is unfortunately a very common scam, just block and ignore.

I have a way to verify numbers if they're legit or text apps. The thing is though even legit numbers with legit Telcom providers can still be untraceable. For example a number can come up as Bell, but it can under the No Name/PC Sim card, so it can be a burner, it's just that PC uses the Bell network and "resell". Similarly, Rogers can be under 711, for the same reason. What's usually a giveaway beyond that though if you pay close attention to the vertified pics on LL is that sometimes it looks like they just photoshopped the verified sign. Another giveaway is if you look at the background of where the photos were taken the interior of the house or hotel is usually of a style that's relatively unknown here, and something you may see in Mexico, the Carribean, and South America. Things like tiles on the flooring, furniture, beds/bedding, wall decor...etc

516-359-7099 is a famous one if you google it - had buddies out there report some "Franco" message as the guy calls it and threatens the same way as on here

This is unfortunately a very common scam, just block and ignore.

yea from the Franco guy - usually the same number like 516 area code from NY - always the same death threats - seems to be evident from certain spammers on LL offering even verified services as it seems to be more than one spammer doing it - so hard to determine who is forwarding this info to that guy
