I suppose morbid humour has its limits, even in a thread called "Inappropriate".
The real moral conundrum is: if we cross out the word "Ukrainian" and replace it with "Palestinian", would that be considered an improvement?
... And now here comes the PETA protestors.
Making fun of anyone with physical or mental disabilities, regardless of of race, religion, or cause , is so utterly disgusting .
Maybe. That is your own though/belief; not every one is going to see it your way.
But someone pointed out this thread is about inappropriate behaviour.
Your protest got trolled..... and you are not gonna win on a moral ground when your in a thread on inappropriate behaviour...
The other thing is our culture is too "woke", you have to follow the rules, obey the rules. When you place too many woke ideas into society, the people rebell. Making jokes is one way of rebelling.
Part of laughing at physical and mental disabilities is a reminder that we ourselves are lucky enough not to be afflicted with those same disabilities. That is the best way I think why people laugh at these kind of jokes...
