I stopped by earlier for a massage thinking it was legit. older skinny lady named Elsie (?) gave me a hard massage and said they offer extras but i declined as I wasn't in the mood. they don't seem to have actual rooms, only massage spaces separated by curtains, but nice and clean. I don't think there's a shower

$70 for the room + $30 for massage only

any one else with more intel?

5 oceans spa on Bellevue is closed down and moved / opened to this new location on Marine drive about five minutes away. It’s now called ‘New Ocean Spa’. No actual rooms with walls, just ‘rooms’ separated with curtains….. not much privacy.

Hm..thats too bad about 5Oceans. I used to love the smell in there - Lemongrass? it was a bit exposed walking in, but the new place is even more so...Hair salon next door, etc.. I wonder if the rent got to be too expensive?

Almost certainly a rich Karen complained to the District. Its one of the richest neighbourhoods in North America. Im sure plenty of the old rich dudes there were getting their dicks pulled by the young Vietnamese hotties that were working there. Im surprised they lasted that long in that location

Agreed! I went to a spa in the USA and could hardly perform due to the open tops on the rooms. Curtains only would be another thing altogether!
Maybe Jenny wanted a break, or didnt want to provide those services anymore, and so thats why they've moved?

Avoid at all costs! The old Five Oceans Spa used to be a pretty relaxing place (with the exception of the owner, Jenny) where most of the women working there would try their best to massage and most offered quite a few extras.

At the New Ocean Spa, the women working are still the same as Five Oceans but the new atmosphere is terrible. The stalls (one can barely call them rooms as they do not have walls, they are separated by curtains) are small and you can hear everything happening in the next stall. I could hear the grunting from the next stall as the guy was getting serviced. Additionally, the women in the next stall tripped (I think) as she almost fell into my stall.

It is not relaxing at all and not private. My first and last time at the New Ocean Spa.

Yeah the curtains sound like a fucking nightmare, unless you give zero fucks about privacy and subtlety. Im not shy at all, but curtains are a line i dont think i can cross

When I arrived, I was greeted by Jenny at the reception, who recognized me as a previous customer from Five Oceans Spa. She guided me to one of the massage rooms—or rather, “stalls,” which is a more fitting term given the layout and lack of privacy.

Before even entering, I heard loud grunting of another man from the next stall, separated by only a curtain. It was unsettling and far from the relaxing experience I’d hoped for. I decided not to proceed with the session; the ambiance felt anything but calming, and the lack of privacy and soundproofing was a dealbreaker.

While the girl who would have given the massage was friendly and sexy, I ultimately chose to leave rather than waste my time in such an uncomfortable setting. I really hope they make some changes to improve the atmosphere and respect clients' need for privacy. Until then, I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a truly relaxing and professional massage experience.
This is not the place if you’re looking for peace and relaxation. I won’t be returning.
