No POTUS (especially Him) can be tried or convicted for anything they do, ever, as long as he uses the "Presidential Duties" excuse justification (one of those duties being to remain President forever, regardless of the actual election results).

The US Supreme Court basically just turned the USA into a dictatorship with their immunity ruling.

A president can even have their rival whacked if they want, and one of the dissenting judges pointed this out. There is no limit to what sort of action this immunity covers, just the barest justification based on the argument (not even proof). that it falls within their duties.

The guys with the R next to their names are not the only ones who can misuse such an absurd power. The ruling covers any president, whatever their ideology. Think about this:
Biden could even use it to eliminate Trump right now, if he were so inclined, and the Putin connections, the MBS and Netanyahu connections that Trump has, would be all Biden needs to say - "Trump is doing the bidding of foreign powers", therefore presidential decision concerning national security. After that, literally anything is legal, and the constitution cannot stop it. As long as Biden is not personally profiting from it as a private citizen, which is apparently the only restriction the SCOTUS ruling left in place. Biden could say "fuck this old age shit, I am only doing this to make sure Trump is defeated", by just issuing a presidential order & assassinating him, and then stepping down so he cannot gain from it. And he could never be brought to trial for giving that order, in the present or in the future. So where is the outcry among the R's? The tyrannical dictatorship they always claim to be worried about just came to pass, thanks to their hand-picked SCOTUS appointees. Absolute self-justifying power, untouchable by any laws at all, even after leaving office.

In other news, Project 2025. Look it up, and the words of those who are its authors - basically the policy planners for Trump's next presidency. The leader of them just said their revolution has already begun, but there will be no bloodshed, so long as their opponents make no attempt to resist it. Not a threat? That's like when mobsters tell you your business will be fire-proof, but only as long as those protection payments keep coming and you never talk to the cops.

I would suggest you read Judge Kaplan's explanation of New York penal law. Donald Trump is indeed a rapist.

But Judge Lewis Kaplan called Trump’s semantic argument “entirely unpersuasive.” He clarified that the jury found that the former president did indeed “rape” Carroll based on the common definition of the word.

“The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape,’” Kaplan wrote.

Thats what they decided despite the fact that it was somewhere around 30 years ago the victim couldnt exactly remember, no evidence of any kind video or witnesses,, the dress the "victim" said she was wearing wasnt in production until a couple years after the supposed act occurred, it was a civil trial with a lesser standard of proof, and well past the statute of limitations which was basically lifted so this trial could occur.

So he was found by the jury to do the same thing to Carroll that Joe Biden did to Tara Reade only there was more evidence that that actually happened. Its not over yet in any event.

Because Trump raped Carroll in the nineties, he was charged under the archaic NY rape law which requires penetration by the penis.

The new law broadens the definition to include unwanted oral, anal and vaginal contact.

So yes, Donald Trump is a big, fat rapist.

I find it strange that on a board like this, so many right wing men defend and make apologies for a rapist who has a history of treating women badly.

Kind of reminds me of how Poilievre placed misogynistic tags in his videos for 5 years.
