Do the major agencies in the city have obvious storefronts? Im under the impression they have a front desk receptionist and everything. I haven't booked at any agency in this city due to everyone working out of one entrance. I'm used to Toronto where this is never the case.

I'm thinking IF and VC/SVIPS (I heard they merged)

Thanks

I've been to IF, VC & SVIPS (before it closed). I wouldn't say any of these places are obvious in appearance at all on the outside in what they are to the random passerby. Like there's no signage or anything. They all had front desks and receptionists but well inside & any windows up front are frosted for privacy

That's the thing though being a small city I'm sure people know.

It is what it is but I prefer the way Toronto operated with condos and hotels that switched up time to time.

Ah okay I see what you're saying. Yea if anyone observed one of these entrances for any period of time they'd probably figure it out or suspect it haha.

Exactly, I'm guessing IF is on the more discreet side of the two since it is a straight up house away from the crowd in downtown unlike VC

Yeah, Toronto completely different game. I prefer it. There's certainly risk in Victoria because it's a small city and it's not hard to bump into people you know, but as someone pointed out once, if they know it's probably because they've been there too. That's the way I like to think about it so I don't get too paranoid! 😅

(I sometimes think about how I wold justify being outside one of the agencies. Maybe saying I'm visiting a client? My profession allows it. Or maybe I was invited to a bachelor party? Maybe we should create a list of plausible excuses! lol)
