Quite the timing on this post. Last night my fwb and I were watching some trash youtubes etc on her ipad and the topic of WHY? cosmetic surgery is considered by some. She has introduced me to various looks that we have all seen but it may not register as there is so much of it in the celebrity world. The classic Hollywood surgery for women of an age, the cheekbones, the lips, the eyes and so on and on. And this pix came up. For those who have watched the Boyz on Prime, Starlight is the blonde cutie ... Why oh Why would she do this ...

But there are some, where the work is well done, suits the person and makes them happy which in turn shows in how they present. Oh well, who am I to say what floats their boats.
I’m watch the Boys and always thought this actress was stunning. It looks like she had a rhinoplasty to narrow her nose, fillers and buccal fat remover on her cheeks which is a trend right now. But I think buccal fat removal makes people look older, and there are a lot of surgeons who won’t do this procedure now too. I think she tweezed her eyebrows too much and maybe has too much eye makeup on.

I actually just looked up photos of her and other articles and this seems to be an unflattering photo of her (the more recent one), but there is no doubt she has had some procedures done. Here is one article: https://www.sportskeeda.com/pop-cul...vamped-appearance-the-boys-season-4-explained

I just wanted to thank people for the comments on this. I was genuinely curious on people’s thoughts on this. It’s interesting to see people’s thoughts and opinions on this topic. Also this is a topic I have mostly talked to about with other women, so it was interesting to see men’s thoughts on this too. Thanks everyone!

Obviously it's a personal choice and always successful if it makes one feel better about themselves. I love fake tits-real ones as well, hell, i guess i like just about all of them :) I've seen the tummy tuck-doesn't bother me at all. I do not like lip augmentation, it's a turn off for me. Anything else that would lend itself to "fake" or plastic look would likewise be unappealing to me but to each their own. I tend to be more attracted to 30yo+ so obviously i'm not looking for a standard of perfection exemplified in magazines etc.

As many members have stated, I would say it is your choice as to whether you want to have cosmetic surgery. However, for me personally, I do prefer all natural. I'm not that excited about enhancements that exaggerate a particular body part such that it looks out of place on ones body. Typically seen when women blow up their breasts to basketball size proportions or those duck lips. For me, if one is wanting cosmetic surgery I would suggest you make it blend in with your overall look so as not to stray into the Michael Jackson side show clown look.

I think people should do whatever makes them happy, be that getting work done or choosing to have none. I don’t think it’s anyone else’s business what people do with their bodies, and the only opinion that truly matters is yours.

Personally, if I had the money, I would probably want to nip and tuck a few things because I am getting older, but mostly I am pretty happy with how I look. In the past couple of years I’ve spent thousands on dental work that no one can even see, but it made a huge difference to me.

Congrats, you look fantastic!!
I 100% agree with you on this. If it makes one happy that is what matters the most. My surgeries I had have helped me feel so much happier in my own skin and more confident. Getting any kind of surgeries, including dental work done, if it makes a big difference to the person getting it done that is the most important thing.

And thank you so much! I feel fantastic.

I’m really curious to know what people’s opinions are on people getting cosmetic surgeries, and in particular with providers who don this. I personally had a few surgeries just over a year ago, including a tummy tuck to alter my body to look more how I wanted it to, lost weight, and just recently had surgeries on my face and neck.

I’m personally so super happy I worked so hard to save up for these procedures, and almost 2 years into being a provider I don’t look like the same person. I also feel more happy and confident with my appearance now, so I have zero regrets over my surgeries. I have wondered though if any of my past or potential clients may find this to be a turn off at… not that it would change my decisions at all because these are things I have wanted for many years now, and things I wanted… nothing anyone else told me I should do.

I am curious how other fellow colleagues feel on cosmetic surgery as well as those who use our services. I know surgical body alterations, or implants in certain areas may not be appealing to all, but I personally feel if one wants to surgically alter one’s appearance and it is done for themselves first and makes them happy, why not? Your body and face, your life. In the comments please try to refrain from body shaming language.

It's their own face & body, but I think it should not be overdone or driven by insecurities, because that risks some sort of disastrous turn.
Get second opinions from people you trust, be cautious.

Don't do fillers and botex. When you hit 40 or 50 you going to look 90. Stay away from that garbage. Do your homework first before you do anything.

I'm not a fan of cosmetic surgery. Especially on young women. Most boob jobs don't look great, and when they're overdone they look terrible. I know a couple of ladies where you can look but you can't touch because it's painful for them. Their nipples are sensitive and not in a good way. I saw a young Thai lady and I commented that it appeared that she had her implants removed since I had last seen her. She said she was glad they were out. She felt so much better. Also, IMO boob jobs tend to make women look older and more matronly. A 24 year old will look like a 34 year old.

Unless you’re a medical professional you can’t really say this. Yes anyone considering cosmetic procedures and surgeries should look into what they want done and also the doctor/injector or the surgeon prior, but this is not true.

There are risks, but they are much higher if you see someone not that experienced or go for something on the cheap… kind of like seeing a provider!😉

Most experts don’t recommend these procedures until over 25 years of age, because you would have minimal ageing and facial maturity doesn’t reach until around that age as well. As a professional makeup artist as well, I do recommend using a great anti aging skin care line first and foremost for preventive measures always, and good quality makeup, where wearing less is better for your overall skin most of the time.

I think people should do what makes them feel good & others who think negatively should keep their comments to themselves & mind their own biscuits

My best friend’s wife is in her sixties and looks gorgeous. She’s had lots of work done, and uses quality skin care.

I’ve been running into your posts and have an appreciation for the glimpses of your personality I’ve seen! Happy to hear how happy you are with your procedures. You’re beautiful inside and out 🤍

Not my place to pass judgment. There are definitely things about my face and body I'd like to change, can't hold it against someone for doing something about it.

Of course like anything it's possible to go overboard or do it for the wrong reasons.

Generally I think that when it comes to your appearance, if you change something that makes you unhappy you will appear more beautiful to those around you, not because of what you changed but how you feel about that change.

Yes so much to this, bout feeling more happy and confident where it’s not about the change itself but how you feel about that change and yourself. Thank you.

Another sad celebrity example. Unfortunately these are likely still early days in her cosmetic surgery journey and I don't think it will take much longer for her to begin looking tragic.

Apparently buccal fat removal (from the cheeks) has become popular with younger women.

I’m totally in the mind frame of
“if it makes you happy “ .. go to it ! “

Would I do it ?
No , I feel like it’s a slippery slope & once you start , especially at an early age where does it end ?
I’ve got friends who are so addicted to fillers they look absolutely ridiculous . They literally look older because of the fillers not younger .

I feel also some plus size or bigger girls I’ve seen with facial filler end up looking like over inflated balloon faces . 🫣 scary up close .

Thinner woman I think start to look older quicker only because without fat you’re face looks sunken in .
I remember my dad lost 100 pounds in his 40s & he looked 10 years older , we can’t win !
be skinny look old .. be chubby look younger but you’re not skinny 🫣

I take good care if my skin & have been blessed with good genes .
But if there was really something that bothered me and kept me from living my life , yes probably , but I find woman who grow old gracefully can look so beautiful. I don’t think it matters what anyone thinks as long as you’re happy 😘❤

Awe Kelcaine you were a smoke show pre-op, and a smoke show post-op! Your ability to exude your happiness over your choices, shines brighter than any disapproving eye.

Exercising your right to bodily autonomy and boldly flaunting your happiness is the best medicine! You have absolutely slayed this! You will always come up against the folks who have mastered the complisult and thumb your nose at their gaslighting attempts. Anyone who is truly happy for you would never follow their compliment with an insult about how absolutely ridiculous other people look with inflated balloon faces. Don’t hold space for that negging!

You do whatever makes YOU the happiest. That’s truly all that matters
