Honestly, your twenties is the perfect time to chase tail on Tinder, Bumble, etc, while you still have a good body, hair and an incurable sex drive.

I get that perspective, but its made with the assumption that people are only hiring escorts because they are unattractive or cant get laid outside of escorts.

I'm a 6'3 muscular black guy, I do extremely well in dating in real life, and on apps, as well as social media. I hire escorts when im extremely busy with work, sometimes an hour long lunch break would be better spent with an SP, good luck getting a girl from tinder coming over at noon on a tuesday to have sex and leave immediately after haha.

I think alot of older guys are unaware of the unparalleled hypergamy in the dating world these days also, its not 1990 were a girls only sexual options are guys in their geographical vicinity. look at the dating app stats , its like 10% of guys getting 90% of the matches or something like that.

it is an addicting hobby though, guys should be wary, especially if they are a virgin or cant get girls outside of the hobby. self improvement is what they should be focused on.

It's a competition the same way we compete for appointments with any professional (a dentist, a lawyer, etc) It's slightly selective but not exclusive.

What you're hearing from us is experience, and perspective. Take it for what you will, but if a number of us are saying it, there might be something to it.

if you possessed the qualities that would have made you attractive on the apps in your 20s or 30s, wouldnt you still possess those qualities? unless you really let yourself go

I'd humbly say some qualities have improved, some haven't. But again, i choose not to go on apps for other reasons.

Let's just prune this. I never said i was an Adonis, nor did i say i would "kill it" on the apps-i said i'd do fine (defined differently to be sure from one person to another) and i have many reasons to believe that based on info from those (peers) that use them. Reasons?-my own-if i had wanted to share, i would have. Nothing i wrote was a brag post. I chimed in with a comment pertinent to the thread-that's all. I tend to agree with your comments about time management dating vs visiting a pro.
