What ever happened to KISS. Not the rock group, but the saying Keep It Simple Stupid.
In the rush to get the lasted technology, the better gadget, is society losing the ground of what is inside our gadgets and inside the software you download into your computer?

And that other kiss, its still great from LFK to DFK.

The Amish practice KISS. Other than that, we are a bunch of crows that can’t help having the latest shiny thing. Cool gadgets are, well, Cool too!

I’m not Amish but as an OG I hate the way technology has taken over. Always preferred the kiss method. Never worn a watch let alone a computer on my wrist.

It started when the first iphone came out.
try radios and tv from back in the 20s and 40s.
Model T ford etc for cars
First highrises, structural components of buildings to prevent them from falling or blowing over in a storm.
But yes electronics, not like your 70s Radio Shack, but its now the Arduino programable boards.

I'm not a "back in the good l days" guy, but it definitely pisses me off to see "conveniences" that are not actually convenient for the customer.

Trends that literally move society towards something it never actually asked for or was ever properly consulted about, and which might actually be bad for us overall.
