Apparently if you go into your Google browsing settings, you can change the recent restrictions they have added. I’m sure a Google search will help you find a way to do that 😂

I've been finding chrome has been acting up the past few months. Switched to Edge and a lot of those problems went away. Of course Bing sucks the big onion and Microshaft's Maps are pathetic ... but there are ways to get around that. It is looking like having the convenience of a cross platform browser working from a profile is going to need serious tweaking in the future.

Most likely because Google is a USA company and because of SESTA-FOSTA, Google is making it so that searching for Sex workers is unsearchable and this is worldwide right now. Sometimes if you search “escorts” then the city it will show up, opposed to the city name then “escorts”. Typing in LL or PERB etc often won’t show up at all right now.

One thing that is working right now is clearing your cache in your browser.

This is just one more reason we need to see decriminalization of all Sex work.

yeah both perb and leolist arent coming up for me on google unless I put .cc at the end. also some agencies sites arent coming up with google searches.

Works fine on bing and duckduckgo though, so it seems to be moreso a google issue.
Not showing up , I’ll take that any day of the week over shutting it down like backpage .

There's been news on twitter about Google changing up the algorithm to make finding sex work related site harder. More big brother BS.
In other news it's harder to lookup individual phone numbers for sex workers if there's any folks here with an S/O in the picture who might notice texts or calls from a particular SP's phone number.

Usually Google perb with the safe search button off and the forum pops up right away. Must have pushed the wrong button this weekend cus when I searched perb all that showed up was some California mumbo jumbo.
Today I typed in Canadian escorts review boards and about nine things down a Winnipeg forum popped up. Finally got back on and immediately added to my collection so I don't lose it again. I initially thought the sight might have gone down for maintenance but I figured after 24 hours that that was wrong. Anyone else have any problems finding perb through a Google search the last couple of days?
Mine went down for almost a week but came back on today, there's always someone spying on our usage and trying to spoil things

Google search is related to its advertising. It wants to point you to who pays the ads, not act like a general search engine.
I guess a thing would be to go to another search engine to see if that works.

The pursuit of happiness.

So the past couple weeks I was perplexed that gmail would not display images natively. Sucks when a lot of the subscriptions I have use an html image to display their shit on my computers. Always worked in Android but recently not W10/11. I tried all the image settings, did what I could - nada - in Chrome and Edge, standard and incognito. Sometime over the weekend something changed, nothing I did, and its all working again. Maybe even opening more snappier than before.
We are just pawns in this I guess, buffeted by the software we use.
Now I am reading that about 15% of the common websites using passwords can be compromised by browser extensions that can get into the big app stores.
Nice ....
