I make the assumption that a good many pooners on here lead a life of covert activity. I’m wondering the circumstance of those folks that have at least one person in who they confide about their SP activity.

I have an SP that I talk to about it. That's it. I wouldn't trust another soul.
No one. Friendships change, people slip up…not worth the risk.
Absolutely not. The only person I trust in regard to this sort of stuff is me, and me alone.
First rule of perb/terbclub is don’t talk about perb/terbclub. I don’t talk to anyone about this other than in posts and dms with other members here on the board.
When I was in TO I got to know a couple of the agency owners quite well and a couple of sps but found that that caused too much bleed into my real life and so pulled back from that kind of thing even tho it had its advantages.
Have avoided those sort of relationships since moving to Van.

There are friends I’d trust with my life, but even they will never know about this part of it. A slip of the tongue in the wrong company is too much of a risk.

Most of the guys at work knew,you know how blue collar guys are
I only trust the girls I see. The donation is for their discretion. That's part of my problem with the longer drawn out vetting processes, too much info floating around. Safety is a priority, I understand but it's still alot of trust both ways that's required.
When I worked at a office full of gossip people it was always assumed single guys without GF saw escorts and jokes abound about it. I wonder if those people later regret those remarks if they matured at all.
It's almost commonly known at my work place some of the guys are into it, one casually dropped LL on me in a conversation. And some guys always brag. It's not as taboo as it's made out to be for single guys, or these girls wouldn't be traveling making bank.
I have pretty much lived my life as a don't tell, don't have to explain kind of thing. Started I think when I first had sex when I was 16 and the lonely widow on my paper route invited me in. Back then, that kind of thing in small town Alberta with more churches than stores would have had songs sung about it it was so taboo.
And that MO has served me very well over the years so its just me, the lovely SP's in my life and all of you, you bunch of studly studs you and trust me, I am not saying a thing about any of you!

Started off just me myself and I . But as time went on I’ve had about 4 long time friends open up to me about being in the hobby , with the understanding of mutual discretion of course .

So the sex is free? WOW, what a bad statement. Can I get their names? The donation is for their time and for sex and what ever else you two agree on. The discretion is part of the package, as the SP does not usually want other people to know about their Sex work. You know their kids, other family, friends, husband etc.
And the best part about it, in Canada here, she could turn you over to the cops as a john... cause its illegal for a john to buy sex in Canada. So why would a SP turn in a money source for them?
So you are having sex for free, but the appearance is that the money is to buy sex. She not going to turn you over to the cops (because its a money stream for her), the money becomes extortion money, cause you are paying her not to tell the cops on you for having free sex.....
