Cash is King.
Already there are too many rules that deal with cash. If you withdraw over a certain amount, the tellers start to ask you questions about what you are doing with the money. Its none of their business, nor is it the banks. It is your money and you can spend it on whatever you want.

There used to be 500, 1000, and 10,000 dollar bills, but due to drug trafficking, only 100 dollar bills are the max currency countries use.

Since that happened cash is becoming used less and less.

All electronic money systems can track you.

Look at debit cards (interact system between banks), when they first came out all debit cards were free, and you could get cash from any ATM. Now there are fees if you use the wrong bank ATM. Every debit you make, cost you a transaction fee, unless you have a package at your bank.

Consumers are slowly being nicked and dimmed to death from fees.

Fees will appear in the electronic money soon, wide untapped market for skimming off money that you made. The price of doing business.... really

Good points. I found out not to long ago that even E-transfers have daily dollar limits.

Cash in hand is freedom, opportunity , responsibilty and anonymity. I use cash whenever possible but find it increasingly difficult and amazed at the responses i get . It seems as if people dont know what it is let alone know how to use it or count it. (i have had to help may clerks recently ) None of my friends' teenage kids (male or female ) even want to have it, when do they do get cash they give it to their parents and want it etransfered to their debit card/acct so they can waste it online on hyped up mass produced disposable products , games and food services.

In my experience, when i use debit or visa, the transaction is quick , easy and painless. When i have to physically peel off the bills and the pile gets smaller i feel and consider my purchase more. Already the use of electronic purchases , by removing the physical aspect of managing pocket money , seems to have have changed how I perceive and value a dollar.

I do in person banking at least once a month (cash cheques, pay bills, folding money) I have never banked online , made any online purchases or orders and have never e-tranfered. This has ultimately excluded me in some cases as far as deposits and access to certain markets but i prefer my transactions/deals face to face, eye to eye, and cash in hand.

I often wonder if the government is taxing us harder, selling off our natural resouces , throwing money away to devalue our earned and saved dollars all in an effort to create scarcity, need and fear, social and financial dependency. When the voting majority is made of people with no money (cue the mass immigration and give away of free recreational drugs ) the people will accept the ' convenience' of having CBDC just to have a little imaginary piece of it

just some ill imformed thoughts and theories from an antiquated uneducated tax payer

Say what you will about yourself but you comments hit home in ways. Especially, the part about " peeling off the bills and the pile get smaller ". Lol..that's so true. You tend to spend more too when it's not physically seen. As for banking....I do the complete opposite. I've E - transfer myself and found It to be very easy.

I am surprised by the lack of concern about digital currency from this forum. What do you think will happen to the SP business when we go cashless?
Money will go digital like everything else has. That's un-fucking-avoidable. Unfortunately. Now, the danger is if that digital cash is government or bank-controlled. Something that is decentralized, global, and robust with strong peer-to-peer payment support wouldn't be too bad.

My fear is that motherfucking banks run the world and prying that power from their hands is an uphill battle to say the least.

I dislike banks more than I dislike government control over how we spend our money.

Very true. Even if you're using some app to track your accounts as you spend, it just doesn't have the same self-limiting power that having literally nothing in your wallet does.

Here are 5 subjects people need to research and learn about. #1 CDBC’s, #2 ESG’s, #3 STAKEHOLDER CAPITALISM, #4 BLOCKCHAIN BANKING, #5 DEI.

#1 CDBC’s. (Central Bank Digital Currencies) are dangerous and extremely Orwellian in nature. Inspired by the Chinese communist party, CBDC’s rely on Blockchain Banking technology. Put simply, it’s a programmable digital money issued by the government to control what you spend your money on and how much you spend depending on the particular products you are buying. For example, each product will be given a carbon emission value and you will be charged if you exceed your monthly carbon allotment or stopped from purchasing the product altogether. CBDCs would even grant governments total unchecked surveillance and control over someone's financial life and can even stop people from being able to access their bank accounts like we seen recently in Ottawa with the protesters.

#2 ESG’s. (Environmental, Social, Governance) are a set of social/economic metrics designed to blackmail business’s and corporation’s into promoting and enforcing left-wing ideology at a federal, state/provincial and local level. ESG’s will be used to increase the size and role of government, allowing the ruling class to restructure and run society based on liberal inspired policies that will fundamentally change the way we live, engage in the environment, engage with each other and do business in the future.

#3 STAKEHOLDER CAPITALISM. Stakeholder “capitalism” is NOT capitalism. It is basically government controlling and mandating how businesses operate on every level by ESG’s (Environmental, Social, and corporate Governance), CBDC’s (Central Bank Digital Currency) and United Nation’s SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals). These are some of the social metrics and economic standards designed by self-appointed, unelected WEF and UN members pushing the Agenda 30 initiatives on governments around the world. It’s not a true free-market based capitalist system any longer. All part of the “you’ll own nothing and be happy” cult mantra.

#4 BLOCKCHAIN BANKING: Blockchain technology allows governments to record every single transaction you make. Every item and service will be given a specific code allowing governments to monitor every item or service you purchase and control how much of it you are allowed to accumulate monthly or yearly. Just look at China if you want to see where this is all headed. They will soon get rid of cash and switch over to a digital currency where every purchase you make will be monitored and controlled.

#5 DEI: (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)
This is nothing short than the government being able to control how schools teach and how businesses, banks and corporations run based on left-wing ideological policies and ideas. It’s not about diversity of ideas, it’s not about equality of opportunity and anybody who disagrees with them will NOT be included in the world they are trying to create. It’s all about control and and silencing opposition.🏼‍♂
DEI is being used to advance a radical agenda that undermines fundamental Western values by promoting equality of outcome over equality of opportunity, collective identity (race, gender, etc) over individual character, censorship of opposing viewpoints over freedom of speech, and a victim culture that is dividing society into two camps of “oppressors vs oppressed”.
DEI is being weaponized against the left’s political opposition by erroneously portraying conservatives as “impeders of progress” or “social vermin”, limiting our reach and influence by censoring our content and controlling what we are allowed to say and share publicly.
DEI initiative’s are dangerous and extremely divisive. They ultimately undermine and replace fundamental Western values, replacing them with ideological left-wing core tenets. DEI is being used to prolong the victimhood mentality while blaming conservatives or western values for any preconceived “disparities” or “social injustices”.
Hey, regarding CBDC, you forgot to mention IT HAS AN EXPIRY DATE !! So, whatever crumbs the govt allots for us won't be in our "accounts" forever.
How do you like the "conspiracy theory", you conspiracy theory theorists ??

One of the biggest jokes we have about humans is : "we're the intelligent race" !!! Yeah sure. Looking at a herd of sheep and a heard of sheeple I don't know which is dumber, IF I can actually call sheep (the animals) "dumb".

I have seen both of those videos and yes it scares the shit out of me. However what scares me even more is how oblivious people are. Even when you present it to them right in their faces.

Most people would rather close their eyes, plug their ears and tell you to go away.

The lack of response on this board is a good example.
People have been warning about CBDC among other things since the start of the "pandemic", telling people that was one of the objectives of this whole lie we've been living through.
