Even worse..ever wonder why when you sometimes say stuff out loud you get an ad for it online shortly after? At best they're getting a program to look for spoken keywords , at worst its all permanently logged and available for purchase..

I was in the Telus store setting up my new I-phone. I asked the rep to add Twitter to my phone. Before he did he asked me what things I would like to follow. I told him NFL and Gardening. After it was installed the only thing the showed up was NFL and yard and garden.
THEY ARE LISTENING TO EVERY THING.
even when your phone is in airplane mode with no SIM card.
THER IS NO PRIVACY WHILE PACKING A CELL PHONE.

That's not out of line with my experience (found dad's Penthouse mags around that age), and probably not most peoples'.
But the moral panic element she is using is to wallpaper over the fact that now they will keep a database of peoples' faces linked to what kind of online porn they watch. Wonderful blackmail material, if the corporate powers that be ever decide to use it.
