What is the point of all the fake profiles on Leolist?

At this point I think I've looked at well over 50+ different independent (non like SVIPs, Vogue, etc) ads on Leolist in the last few weeks and confirmed every single one I have looked at has been a fake profile using fake pictures. Some barely even bother to hide it with the same copy and pasted message on the ad and the same text responses when you message.
And of course it seems every single "new in town" or even remotely attractive looking asian post is BS too with even less effort put in then some of the white or latina girl posts.

I'm genuinely curious if anyone knows why people do this? Almost none ask for a deposit and it's stupidly easy to verify if the profile is real usually, so what's the catch what are these people getting out of doing this? Besides tanking LeoLists credibility lol. I can't figure out what the angle is and what even the point of Leolist is if they let this happen to such a degree?
(Don't worry I do already know about the better sites like Tryst).

Being in this for awhile and wondering when Asian influence started?

There's been a huge increase in Asian population across Canada, it was bound to happen.
Plus for a younger generation, they are obsessed with anime and Asians so, there's a bit of a market there
and I think scams/fake ads are not as frowned upon in Asia and they brought it over in abundance

A lot are landed immigrants who are here to cash in. A lot have family back where they are from who are struggling to get ahead, and thus they send money back home.

Yeah but how do they even get the money? It's so easy to spot a fake profile now before you ever give them any money.
