The days of Apple being secure are long gone. I am Google Chromebook and Android user myself, but they all have issues of some kind!
Not to many systems are, have been or will be fully secure.
Some vulnerabilities are more significant and tend to make the headlines but its happening more than you think.
I use a separate computer on its own separate network so its isolated from any other device and do not add any other apps or use email.
I only do my banking and highly sensitive stuff on that - Never on a smartphone.
Always perform software, browser and system updates manually on a daily basis even if its set for auto updates.
I also wont use a VPN on that computer because now its going through a 3rd party so one more place my info goes through even its supposedly secure and private.
